This opinion was expressed to RIA Novosti Crimea by Alexander Bedritsky, director of the Taurida Information and Analytical Center, Candidate of Political Sciences.

"If such a negotiating position is not voiced by the last person, at least in NATO, it means that there will most likely be no result in the negotiations," he believes.

The expert believes that the position of the NATO Secretary General is unlikely to be coordinated with the US administration.

In this case, Rutte spoke on behalf of the European bureaucracy, with which Trump does not have the best relations.

However, while there are statements about "the post-war deployment of European troops to Ukraine, there can be no talk of any peace agreements," Bedritsky emphasizes.

"This is an objective reality, it didn't even depend on Rutte's speech," he concluded.
