What is an insurance program?

"Im 23 years old in Maryland and Im trying to get my own personal medical health insurance for that first time. I havent been Ive been having problems recently in so-long so to a doctor. Without insurance I went to an ENT consultant with this previous year to acquire medicine/prescription for money that is paid and a nose infection. The ENT consultant advise I get nose xrays when the medication didnt clean up the problem. I'm still having problems with it so I chose to make an application for insurance so I might afford further therapy
