What is TEC

What is TEC

TEC collective mind

We are the TON Expert Club team: researchers, traders, reviewers, IT specialists, bloggers, airdrop hunters, and enthusiasts.

Initially, we created TEC for ourselves - we help each other explore crypto and projects, learn, and find new opportunities. Over the year, thanks to each other, our team gained incredible experience, an understanding of how blockchain works, and many useful, interesting contacts.

We now feel that we have grown enough to share our experiences and research and improve it even more/better/higher/faster/stronger, together with you. Our goal is to help develop the TON blockchain as much as we can.

Some time ago, our team became acquainted with the OpenRating project from the OpenBuilders team, in which the authors are engaged in reviews (Reports) and compiling a rating of TON projects. We saw this as an interesting prospect. At the moment, our two reports on the Tonstarter and Tonkeeper projects have been published; Several reviews of other projects, such as Megaton and Bemo, were carried out. Soon, work on reports of at least 5 more large projects (TBA) is in the pipeline.

Report is a form on the Notion website, in which OpenRating, on behalf of the report's author, publishes information about the project (for example, here is our report on Tonstarter).

— Each project report has an official template, consisting of several important aspects, such as market fit, team, legal and technical components, tokenomics, etc. Typically, one author writes one Report, evaluates each aspect using a point system, and then submits it to Review.

Review is a verification process, that happens after the initial preparation of the report. A “fresh look” by other authors, smoothing out inaccuracies and possible bias of one researcher.

Our idea is to take the objectivity of research and ratings to a new level:

— To continue TEC teamwork on resource and project analytics by a group of researchers independent of anyone, even each other in the team.

— To create a public Forum with threads on the projects being reviewed so that any other TON enthusiasts, researchers, testnet users, and bug-hunters have the opportunity to contribute to the report/review, to share problems and user experience.

* Reception of participants for TEC DRAW has been completed. The winners will be chosen on January 6th.
