What is Arena

What is Arena

GalaxyOnline.IO

Welcome to the Arena - Galaxy Online's new competitive mode. There will be several different types of Arenas, differing in modes and duration. Arenas will be free (with the ability to win cryptocurrency) and paid (rates for Credits and Tickets).

Tickets are one-time game passes to some types of Arena, which can only be obtained for in-game Quests in the open world. The cost of a ticket when used in the Arena is covered by a separate game fund.

ARENA TYPES

1. Educational Arena (free, with prizes in cryptocurrency)

Several different Arenas that each player must play at least 1-5 times before being allowed to other types of Arenas.

Any user registered on the GalaxyOnline.IO website can take part in such Arena, even if he has not yet completed the Academy.

Participation in such Arenas is free and there are small prizes in different tokens.

After completing the Tutorial Arena, each newbie is given 1 ticket to the Team Arena for free.

2. Team Arena I (paid, for Credits or Tickets)

Arena with a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 20 players, designed for 2 teams. The team with the most points wins.

This is a paid type of Arena, the cost of participation is 1 CRE or 1 Ticket.

This type of Arena is only available to players after a few games in the Tutorial Arena.

The entire prize pool is formed by the bets of the players themselves. It is possible both a slight increase in the Arena prize fund at the expense of a separate game fund and a commission from 0 to 20% from the players' bets on the DAO fund and the team.

3. Team Arena II (paid, for Credits or Tickets)

Similar to the Command Arena I type, but with a number of differences:

Only a player with an account in the open world and more than 3000 Points can take part in such an Arena.

Participation costs range from 1 to 10 CRE or 1 Ticket.

A large increase in the prize fund of the Arena is possible at the expense of a separate game fund.

4. Corporate Arena

This is the Team Arena, which is only allowed for players with an account in the Open World and in a corporation.

IMPORTANT! In all types of Arenas (except for the Educational Arena), the commission for the DAO and the Team can be reduced or absent, and the DAO itself and / or the Team can allocate various game values and cryptocurrency to the prize pool of the Arenas. Sponsored Arenas can also take place with additional prizes in tokens and cryptocurrencies of various blockchains and partners.

How to get to the Arena?

Some types of Arenas will take place several times a day, some will be daily and weekly. There are also several tournaments planned.

The Arena page is located at: https://galaxyonline.io/arena

In order not to miss the Arena, subscribe to the telegram news channel and in-game chat.

IMPORTANT! Registration at the Arena takes place 10 minutes before the start. If during this time at least 4 registered participants are typed, they will split into 2 teams randomly and the Arena will start.

IMPORTANT! Do not close this page, as immediately after the launch of the Arena, all registered players will be transferred to the game. If one of the teams has 1 more player, then he will not be able to start the game (such a player is marked in red in the table).

Description of the Arena. How to play?

The goal of the Arena is to score as many points as possible by destroying the enemy's fleet in the allotted time.

Players see all of each other's movements right on the map. Green tracers are allies, orange are enemies, red are enemy attacks on you, and blue are movements of their fleets.

At the end of the Arena, an automatic scoring will take place and only the players of the winning team will share the prize in proportion to the points scored.

How are the battles in the Arena going:

The arena begins with the player entering the Arena Galaxy where he controls one of a thousand planets with an Orbital Station on it.

The player's fleet is located at the Orbital Station, and it is from this station that the player will send attacks and blockades to other planets or other players.

Not only is the size of the fleet important, but modular modifications are also important. With their help, the fleet can be further improved by making the armor stronger, the damage of the guns is greater, and the speed of movement is faster. But, initially the player does not have modules and he needs to scout the surrounding planets and send ships to seize the resources stored there.

Арена

But, before sending Attacks and Blockades, it is worth dealing with those ships that the player has now.

Ships

Scout "Loki"

Possesses a small margin of safety and low damage, mainly serves for reconnaissance of planets and the enemy's fleet, in battle it is effective only in especially large sizes.

Characteristics:
Attack: 20
Defense: 20
Speed: 80

Issued by ships: 25,000

Points for the destroyed enemy ship: 1

Stormtrooper "Excalibr"

Universal ship for warfare. It has an average of armor and damage, which makes it an ideal candidate for all types of modules.

Characteristics:
Attack: 100
Defense: 100
Speed: 60

Issued by ships: 50,000

Points for the destroyed enemy ship: 5

Colonizer "Titan"

A huge ship that prepares the planets for the transfer of the Orbital Station. It has the highest Armor and Damage indicators and the lowest speed. Titan is also the only ship that cannot be stopped after being dispatched.

Characteristics:
Attack: 50,000
Defense: 100,000
Speed: 38

Issued by ships: 3

Points for the destroyed enemy ship: 5000

Planets

There are 7 different types of planets in the arena, 3 different sizes.

Each planet initially contains a protective fleet and a reward. The reward always consists of Ships and Modules, as well as a reward with a small chance there may be a "Titan".
The size of the guard fleet and rewards depends on the Type and size of the planet, for example, green planets are the most common and you can rarely find a large reward on them, and on purple planets, on the contrary, there is almost always a large reward, which includes many ships and from 3 modules.
But you should be careful, because on the purple planets you may have to fight not only with the Pirates, but also with the players who also want to get to her treasures.

How to get rewards on planets?

As mentioned above - on every planet there is a protective fleet, therefore, initially it is better to conduct reconnaissance in order to see the protective fleet and the awards that can be obtained on the planet.

After that, you need to send ships to the Blockade, defeat the Pirate Fleet and hold out on the planet until the timer expires.

After the timer expires, the reward fleet will join the blockade and, together with the captured modules, they will fly to the planet where the Orbital Station is now located.

It is also worth paying attention to the fact that Titan, capturing the planet, also instantly captures the reward on the planet and destroys the protective fleet. However, in this case, the Titan dies (it is a one-time ship).

Modules

Modules can also be found on planets as a reward. Each module has 1, 2 or all three characteristics that enhance Attack, Defense or Speed.

Modules are of 3 types of rarity:

Common - Level 30 Model

Rare - Module Level 70

Very Rare - Module Level 100

Table of modules that can be found on planets:

All modules in the Arena are one-time use and will be destroyed after the fleet returns back to the Orbital Station, regardless of whether it participated in the battle or not.

Space battles, battle types and limits

There are 2 types of battles in the Arena: Attack and Blockade.

Attack - the fleet goes to the indicated planet of another player and fights with the fleet that is there. In case of victory, the fleet returns back and can bring with it the modules of another player (if any). You cannot attack free planets (not belonging to real players from another team). Also, you can not attack the planets of allies.

Blockade - the fleet is sent to the specified planet, but does not fight the fleet located on this planet, but maintains a position in Orbit. This means that in the case of another player's planet, the blockade will not fight ships on it, at least until the other player sends troops from his planet or his troops themselves return from the flight.

It is also worth knowing that the fleets located on the Pirate Planets and Pirate stations are in a state of Blockade and if the fleet is sent into a blockade on them, the battle will still take place.

There is also a special, separate type of battle - Reconnaissance.

Blockades from allies are summed up and there is no battle between them.

Reconnaissance can be applied to pirate planets, in this case it will be instantaneous, but reconnaissance can also be sent to the planets of other players or to the attacking fleet from other players to find out the number of enemy ships and whether it has modules.

But, if the enemy on the planet or in the attack has their own locks, they will act as a defense against reconnaissance and the player will need more lock than the opponent has to get intelligence data.

Limits

In the lower left corner there is a quick navigation bar, which can display up to 5 player fleets. The player cannot keep more fleets in space, so the ships must be sent wisely, correctly distributing forces and not forgetting about protecting your planet.

The limits for sending fleets are as follows:

Simultaneously the number of fleets in space - 5

Simultaneous number of blockades - 3

Simultaneous number of reconnaissance - 1

Simultaneous number of Titans- 1

Pirate Stations

Expansion of game content.

In some types of Arenas, a Pirate Station will additionally appear on which there will be a Chest (by analogy with Quests in the main game).

Capturing a Chest at a Pirate Station is similar to capturing rewards on a planet.

If the player manages to capture the Chest and take it to any Space Station, then he and his team will receive additional points that can affect the victory.

These types of Arena will be introduced later. Don't miss the news on Arenas and prizes, subscribe to the telegram news channel and in-game chat.
