Is my @wallet connected to my Telegram account?

Yes, it is linked to your Telegram account. Each client gets a unique Telegram user ID, which gets connected to your Wallet when it is created. If you decide to change your nickname or phone number, you will still be able to access your Wallet.

It is worth mentioning that if you change your phone number and decide to buy cryptocurrency with a bank card, you will be considered as a new user. In this case, you will need to write to @wallet_supportbot to change it.

If you lose access to your Telegram account or delete it, you will not be able to get to your previous wallet. Using the bot from a recovered or new account will create a new wallet. So if you decide to delete your Telegram account, then firstly send all your cryptocurrency from Wallet to another service, for example Tonkeeper.

Please contact our support if you've lost the access to your Wallet, and we'll try to help: @wallet_supportbot

How can I secure my wallet in the @wallet bot?

Since your wallet is accessed via your Telegram account, we recommend setting two-step verification to login and passcode to access chats.

We also recommend terminating all your active Telegram sessions on other devices, especially if it is on a device that you do not control at the moment. For this, you can enable an automated termination of old sessions. All this can be done in the Telegram settings in the Privacy and Security section.

Why does the bot ask for my phone number?

You need to share your phone number with the bot to provide you with a fully functional service.

You can share only the phone number linked to your Telegram account.

To do this, select any function in the bot, e.g. “Deposit” and share your phone number by clicking the Share button.
