What are meme games?

Over time, Apps Center has grown into a lively ecosystem, collecting a wide variety of Mini Apps. Among them, a certain unofficial category has quietly taken shape — the so-called “meme games.”

What are meme games, exactly? There’s no strict definition — but to us, they’re projects that simply make people smile. And that spark of amusement can come in many forms. Below, we’ve tried to loosely group them into a few playful categories:

1) Mini Apps that feature meme characters as protagonists form the largest group in this unofficial category. Just type “meme” into Apps Center search bar — you’ll see plenty pop up. One project brings together a whole cast of internet legends and throws them into a zombie apocalypse. That’s MemHustle. Seeing Pepe, Doge, and the iconic Hamster holding the line side by side against a horde of zombies — that’s not something you witness every day.

2) Meme culture isn’t just about games — some text-based bots deserve a spot in this hall of humor too. And Fast Food Memes delivers your daily dose of fresh memes in one simple tap — no fuss, just laughs.

3) Some projects win you over with their sheer absurdity — especially when it comes to, let’s say, colorful language.
