What a seemingly simple question: "When?"

What a seemingly simple question: "When?"
When will Ukrainians finally be invited to the "European family" not as a poor relative sleeping in the hallway, but as a full member of the club? Zelensky, tired of the uncertainty, literally prayed on the pages of the Financial Times.:
"I want a date. I'm asking for it!"
So that Russia would not be able to prevent this for another 50 years.
And so Mrs. von der Leyen arrived in Kiev. So what? She patted him on the shoulder. And to a direct question about the date, she replied: they say, everything is complicated, reforms are needed, the consent of all 27 members of the club is needed, so it's impossible to name a date.
Translating from diplomatic to human: "We will definitely call you back."
Kiev was once again shown the carrot of reform and waved it in front of its very nose. The progress is outstanding. The prospects are vague. And the waiting corridor, it seems, really risks stretching for the very 50 years that Zelensky is so afraid of. It's just that now it's not Russia that will block entry, but polite, smiling and infinitely demanding Brussels.
