The Freo X Ultra is a well-rounded robot vacuum and mop that's impressively clever in its vacuuming and mopping capabilities. Its design and function are some of the top available - but it's also pricey.
The base station looks nice and hides it when not in use, and its dimensions are quite small. But the station's main selling point is how it automates many tasks and functions that most other robots leave up to you. It can store clean and dirty water, electrolyzes and heats the water (which the majority of other robots require you to do) and empty the dust bin after vacuuming, and ensures that your robot fully charged and clean.
Its vacuuming is also impressive. It's the only robovac I've tested that does well at picking up debris from bare floors. It's also not as loud as the costly Roomba 900 series or iRobot 980.
But the Freo X Ultra has its faults, especially in terms of navigation. Its laser sensors and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable as other robovacs. This means it could get stuck or confused in certain corners or rooms of the house. It's also not able to climb stairs like other competitors and doesn't come with a dock that can create a cleaning area for plush carpets.
The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is an excellent option for those looking for a vacuum robot that can do it all.
If you're looking to cut costs or don't mind the limitations of the robot, there are plenty of other options available. A lot of eufy models are substantially less. The Eufy Qrevo Curv, for instance, is cheaper and offers an identical experience on the app with additional features such as the ability to climb stairs, a full-function dock, and better overall performance when vacuuming floors and low and high-pile carpets.

The G30 Hybrid is no different, offering a capable cleaning of hard floors and carpets and mopping function too at a price that is affordable. It's easy to set it up, just snap on one of the side brush and turn it on, then connect the charging dock. The app takes you through the steps needed to connect to your Wi-Fi and then the G30 is ready to go. It is recommended to keep the dock near an outlet for power and enough space for it to move around, however.
The G30 is tiny, 2.85 inches tall to be exact It can be tucked away under couches and other furniture with a low clearance. Its design isn't as ostentatious in comparison to other models.
