Drake ‘s dad Dennis Graham is opening up about his embattled friends — R. Kelly and Jussie Smollett amid their recent scandals. During an interview about his new single, Graham was asked about Kelly, who this week pleaded not guilty to 10 counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse against four alleged victims. Telling Variety that the “Ignition” singer is “a good friend of mine,” Graham said: “I wish him the best.” “I hate that it’s happening to him. There’s a reason why women come out after the fact. They have totally reconstructed his story.” Smollett was arrested last week and is facing a felony charge of disorderly conduct. If convicted, he could serve up to three years in prison. The Empire actor has denied the allegations and maintains his innocence .
