Online dating is a fantastic thing when you find a website or app that really works for you. Unfortunately, though, it seems that many dating websites are complete wastes of time. In preparing for this Flirt.com review, I saw a very familiar template and knew exactly what I was looking at.
We like to do a lot of dating site reviews here at Beyond Ages to eliminate fake sites and time wasters. Since your online dating experience can only be as good as the website you use, it’s an important factor. By pointing you in the right direction with a detailed review, you can spend more time on actual dates. That’s how it’s meant to work, right?
You need to be using at least one or two of the top dating apps right now if you want to get any real results. So many people exclusively look online now, thanks social distancing, that you can’t avoid it even if you want to. Fortunately there are a few great options out there for most people, you just need to do your research first.
I’ll always set up a free profile, only filling out the mandatory fields at first. What I’m looking for here is to see if I’ll receive a bunch of inbox spam. Fake dating websites will often have a bunch of fake accounts that try to fool you into signing up for their premium service. Since no real user would message a blank profile, a busy inbox straight away means you’re seeing spambots.
No matter how this turns out, I’ll then use the site for a week or two with this free account. I’ll add profile photos and complete my bio like normal. My aim is to set up as many dates as possible as a free user. I’m looking to see if it’s even possible and if so, how the experience compares to some of the more popular sites. After that, I move on to a paid account several weeks after that . I want to see if the premium perks make it any easier for me to set up dates.
All in all, I end up with a far better understanding of what it’s like to actually use the site. This makes for a far more informative review. If I can save just one person from being scammed, all this effort is totally worthwhile.
No need to hide the conclusion for this site all the way at the bottom. It’s part of a massive network of fake dating websites that seem to point back to TopOffers.com. If you’re not familiar with this network, I’d suggest reading through the rest of Flirt review anyway. The more you can understand and look out for these fake sites, the safer your credit card will be.
AFF (which you can try for free) is one of the largest hookup sites out there right now and where we’ve seen guys especially get good results, which makes it Flirt.com’s biggest competitor. A great first step to any review is a brief comparison between the best option out there (AFF) and Flirt.
So, below is a quick comparison so you can see how the two stack up.
Our team rates each site objectively based on many hours of independent research, the features each site offers, and how it compares with other sites. The ratings are the opinion of our editors and their extensive experience.
Our opinion of how attractive the typical woman is that uses this site and how easy they are to connect with compared to other sites.
How many people are using this site to actually meet people compared to other sites.
How easy is this site to use and how quickly can an average person begin meeting people compared to other sites.
Does this site take proper precautions to safeguard its members, their identity, and their data.
Our opinion of how easily an average person will be able to achieve their dating goals with this site compared to other sites.
Will the time and money spent using this site pay off for an average person based on the opinions and experience of our editors.
Basically, everything but the usability of this site is pretty bad. You can navigate it just fine and the layout isn’t terrible at all. Unfortunately, though, that helps nobody when the only “women” you’ll talk to are a bunch of guys somewhere offshore. A pretty bad experience overall.
When you compare it to the top sites out there now, like AFF , it looks even worse.
If a hookup is what you’re looking for, go ahead and check out AFF instead. They boast over 60 million (real) users and are specifically targeted at hookups. You can send a handful of messages and expect a few replies even if you’re not an expert at flirting online. It’s infinitely better than giving this dodgy network your hard-earned money.
If AFF doesn’t do it for you, we recently reviewed all of the top dating apps and websites out there. Have a look through that list and see what appeals to you most.
When you spend as much time as I do writing detailed dating site reviews, you get to know the larger networks. In the case of TopOffers, a large portion of their sites all seem to use the same template and tactics. Just take a look at the five other sites in their network and how similar they are. As you can see, Flirt.com looks exactly the same too.
They seem to register a collection of cringe domain names like “ Shagaholic.com ” then duplicate the site over and over. About the only thing that really changes is the color scheme, honestly. So, the moment I logged into with my free account I knew exactly what to expect and I wasn’t surprised.
As I began writing more and more of these reviews, I started to see the same names in the footer. The closer I looked, the more connections I saw. It turns out this network includes a massive 218 fake dating websites! Of those, most fall under one of six shell companies:
If you ever see one of these names in the footer of a dating website, it’s time to cancel your account.
This is a fair question and an important one to answer. In short, nothing about the 218 sites in their network are legitimate, but they use tactics to pretend otherwise. You’ll constantly receive messages from profiles on the site but they’re all behind a paywall or you need to pay to reply. These will be flirty messages from a bot that’s trying to fool you into paying for a premium account. With any site that’s going to use tactics like these, I could never suggest handing over your credit card information.
On top of this, as we found in our Flirt review, they’ll use your information to populate their other websites as well. They’ll duplicate your profile on other dodgy “dating” sites, which means you might become the face of a bot soon enough!
It’s a big affiliate network — you are the product. As the saying goes, if you’re getting something valuable for free, you are the product.
No matter how questionable the site, we still manage to find something good about it. In the case of this Flirt.com review, all the “positives” are more like backhanded compliments.
The messaging experience on this website would be great if there were real users on it. The layout is so intuitive and easy to use but any attempt to talk to someone brings you to this:
Even when you get a pop-up window in the corner like the one below, you can’t reply. The moment you click in the text field to reply, you’re taken to that same subscription page.
Quite sad really. Yakf3 said I wouldn’t regret meeting her and yet it doesn’t seem like I’ll ever get the chance now. It’s the same problem with every single bot that messages you.
As you can see in our recommendation, some of them don’t even show you the initial message. You just get a notification that someone sent you a message and you need to upgrade to view it.
In our Flirt.com review we found that the only thing you really gain from creating a profile is the potential to become a star. There are no actual users on here to interact with but there is a chance you’ll be an unpaid model for multiple brands. Who wouldn’t want their face associated with “Shagaholic,” right?
A big red flag that a dating site isn’t what it claims to be is a sea of ads. Unlike what we found in our Flirt review, legit sites like AFF or eHarmony make their money through repeat subscriptions. They have no need for ad revenue and, so you won’t see ads on those sites.
Interestingly enough, Flirt.com doesn’t actually have ads anywhere. While the many lookalike sites I’ve reviewed have quite a few, Flirt was a little different. Since this is all part of an affiliate network, this alone must bring them enough revenue.
Finally, to wrap up this Flirt.com review I’m going to run through the most frequently asked questions. This should cover everything you need to know, but feel free to reach out if I missed anything.
Flirt.com is another so-called dating site. You won’t find any real users on this site and they reserve the right to use your content for their own purposes.
Flirt is owned by Blue Vision, which also operates a network of sites with the same sketchy MO.
You can email them at support@flirt.com
Yes, Flirt is a real site. The downside? It’s full of questionable profiles that won’t even respond when you attempt to message them.
Not at all. Flirt.com is part of an affiliate network. It’s one of 218 terrible dating websites designed to get your credit card info.
Maybe, maybe not. Either way, Flirt isn’t there to help you flirt with anyone. This site is likely more interested in your credit card information.
Flirt is not worth a second of your time. Instead, check out our review of the best hookup apps and websites .
Flirt.com works by masking itself as a legit dating site. However, once you create an account, you’ll be greeted by paywall after paywall until you get a paid account. Once you pay for an account, however, you’ll see that the “eager” women looking to chat with you will become dead silent.
As a paid member, you can just click “Chat” under any user’s profile and start chatting. Since all profiles are bots though, there’s really no point. As a free user, clicking Chat will just take you to the subscription page so you can sign up for a paid account.
If you’re curious about Flirt.com’s payment plans, here you go:
When you create a Flirt account, by default you’re given a free membership. This allows you to search for members and receive high volumes of spam. Since there are no real users on the site though, there’s really nothing you can do here as a free or paid member.
As a paid Flirt member, you can just click “Chat” under any user’s profile and start chatting. Since all profiles look like bots though, there’s really no point. As a free user, clicking Chat will just take you to the subscription page so you can sign up for a paid account.
Official instructions to cancel your subscription are below but if you’ve signed up for a paid account, contact your bank asap.
To delete your profile just follow these steps. Note that you’ll have to cancel your paid subscription before you can do this.

Pros

Optimized mobile site that can be accessed from most phones and tablets. Lots of tips and icebreakers to make flirting easy for everyone. Premium membership is exceptionally well-priced. Optional account verification makes for a safer experience.

Cons

No dedicated app for easy on-the-go usage. You can’t initiate messaging on a free account (after your 5 initial chats are used). Making changes to your account can be difficult and convoluted.

Flirt.com isn’t a new name in online dating, but they definitely seem to be growing in modern popularity. This might be thanks to a good marketing effort, but we think it has to do with an increased interest in casual dating in the modern era.
The real question is, does Flirt actually hold up to more modern casual dating sites?
Today, we are taking a detailed look at everything Flirt.com has to offer, and we really mean everything. From their features to the sign up process and even their customer support options, we have left no stones unturned!
So if you are considering getting your flirt on through this digital dating platform, be sure to take a look through our findings first!
The short answer – yes, most users will really enjoy Flirt.com.
The long answer – Flirt.com has a lot of great features and is easy to use. However, users looking for a free online dating experience will find Flirt.com to be very limited. While you can respond to messages, you have to have a paid account to send a message. This can make it practically impossible to talk for free with the matches you have a genuine interest in.
As a paid site, Flirt.com is a great option. The features are plentiful and the monthly cost is low when compared to similar sites. So, if you are in the market for a paid, casual dating site, Flirt.com may be a really good choice for you.
Flirt has a lot of fun features available to paid members, here are a few of our favorites:
Need a little help breaking the ice with your matches? The flirtcast is a pre-written prompt that you can send to multiple matches at once. It is a great way to get conversations started without the pressure of thinking of an opening line!
If you find the grid of matches a bit overwhelming, the Like Gallery takes a slower approach to looking at profiles. It will show you one profile at a time with a larger, easier to see image. You can also see those who have liked you, which can help you narrow down the choice of who to message.
Do you see someone you are attracted to but they haven’t completed their profile yet? You can request additional info from that user before taking a plunge into messaging them!
Flirt lets you add a custom recorded video to your profile, which is a great way to help get your personality across. It will also lead to more interaction because users will know you are a real person and not a catfish.
After looking through the singles suggested to us on Flirt.com, it became obvious that the lack of required verification has led to an inundation of fake profiles – especially women’s profiles. However, many users utilize the optional verification feature, which makes it much easier to discern who is real and who isn’t!
Looking through the real accounts, there are some really high quality singles on this site. The range of user age is a little bit more widespread than on deeply casual apps like Tinder or Bumble, so Flirt is especially good for older singles.
Still, there are plenty of young singles to choose from as well. So, as long as you are aware of the existence of fake accounts and only associate with accounts that are verified, we think you will be impressed with the singles on Flirt.com!
Flirt has one of the easiest sign ups we’ve seen. You simply need to provide your email, gender, dating gender preference, and age. You can provide more information for your profile creation, but you have the option to skip this section.
You will need to retrieve a verification code from your provided email address before you can access your account.
Flirt.com takes a pretty standard approach to membership cost, but we do want to point out that there is a $0.99 a day trial option (up to 3 days) and there is also a 5 free messages feature for free accounts. Outside of that, membership pricing (as of our most recent Flirt.com review) is as follows:
Customer support on Flirt.com is strange, to say the least.
Primarily, customer support is offered through a form with drop down options to help you find solutions to FAQs. It is one of the weirder ways we have seen FAQs organized and it can feel bothersome to navigate. Instead of seeing all options on a page, you have to click through randomly until you find the sub-option you need.
There are also strange answers to issues.
For instance, if you need to change your gender preference, you must find the appropriate question from the drop down list. Once you find it, you are given the following directions to change your gender preference:
There is no mention of how long it will take or if you will be informed of the change.
Essentially, the site’s solution to the problem is to have you complain about a lack of solution to the problem so a moderator can manually solve your problem at their own discretion.
We would prefer a live chat or open messaging system for these issues, versus hoping you get a resolution after sending a message explaining why you didn’t already get a resolution.
While it is definitely possible to find a long term romantic partner on flirt, the site is intended for casual dating. Those looking for something more serious might like other dating apps like OKCupid or EHarmony.
Signing up for Flirt is completely free and comes with 5 free messages to help you get a feel for the site. However, the majority of features are only for those with a paid membership or those on the paid 3-day trial.
The 3-day paid trial costs $0.99 a day.
Flirt does not have a mobile app, but you can access the site through your mobile browser. Their mobile site is fully optimized and easy to use on most phones and tablets.
No! You can sign up for an Flirt account with nothing but an active email address.

On its first launch in 2009, Flirt was called EasyDate. The original name reflected even more on this website’s essence — that is, a chance to find casual NSA relationships and quick free hookup sites . Later on, this service was acquired by a larger Cupid network and got even more exposure ever since. As of today, the site has over a million members in many countries of the world.
During its pretty long history — over ten years is a lot in the dating world — Flirt has gone through many transformations. For example, communication over their services was originally free for women and a paid one for men. Today, however, the service has premium plans for women and men alike — as they claim, due to security measures, but as we see it — because of the ever-growing emancipation wave. Whatever the real case may be, not all members took the change lightly, and now Flirt is offering a 3-day trial at a very symbolic cost. Besides, they fine-tuned their refund policy, so now it’s possible to get your money back practically for every service you’re not happy with.
During its years in the dating world, users have reported a lot of f
