In our testing the i7+ performed more agile and faster than our second-placed model which was the eufy RoboVac G30, and it took large pieces of pet hair from all surface types, including carpeting. Its main advantage over the eufy, though the dust bin is self-emptying that eliminates a major source of maintenance and lowers the cost of maintenance.
We were also awestruck by the i7+’s compatibility with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant AI services. We utilized these services to instruct the robot to start, stop, or pause cleaning sessions and also to move around the room and to vacuum a particular area. The iRobot Home App made it easy to connect the i7+ to these services. When connected we were able to communicate with the i7+ using voice commands such as "Hey Alexa, vacuum the master bedroom." The iRobot Home App also offers options to manage i7+ settings and monitoring performance.

This model has its own advantages however: it's light and more mobile than previous Dysons cordless models and its ability to vacuum is noticeable superior on carpets with low pile.

It was able to pick up all kinds of debris in our tests and would often go over the same area many times to ensure a thorough clean.
