If someone types something and another person sends a message saying ^^ or ^ it means that they agree with what was said before
Example
Person 1: I get less than 7 hours of sleep everyday
Person 2: ^^
Edit: If someone types *insert sentence* ^^ and they are known to make a lot of emoticons/emojis, they may be trying to type the ^_^ face but missed the underscore leaving ^^
What does this symbol mean in texting^^?
It’s in reference to a post or a message above, or sent directly before, it.
For example, if you were to send only ^^, it would be similar to saying ‘same’ or ‘I agree with what you said’. If you were to send ^^ with a reply, it would be replying directly to the post above (or sent directly before) it.
Also, the number of up-arrows corresponds directly to enthusiasm. For example, 5 or 6 up-arrows usually means the sender is agreeing more enthusiastically than if the same person were to send just one.
As far as I'm aware it means “The same as what's written above”, so for example if you messaged “I'm tired” and the respondent writes back “ ^^ ” they're basically saying “Ditto”.
It may also be used as an emote where ^^ represents 2 joyful eyes, as it resembles the Japanese anime style of happy eyes. It can also be written as ^.^ or ^_^

What does this ^^^^^^^ mean in a message?
What does ..; and ^& mean in texting?
What is the meaning of '…' in chats?
In my experience, it’s an amused smiley — the ^^ symbolises the eyes of someone (or somecat) smiling with closed eyes.
Depends on the context. It can either be a friendly/ happy expression where “^” signs are closed eyes. Imagine something like (^-^) where - is a mouth and then remove everything except ^^.
Or it can be just two arrows pointing at whatever someone said before the previous message, like this:
Person 1: “Omg this song is awesome!”
Person 2: “Hey guys, you know what Bob said to Jenny yesterday?”
Person 3: “^^I agree. Anyway, what did Bob say?”
^^ is an emoticon similar to ^_^ but more compact and easier to write. In general these express happiness and smiling, though depending on the context and culture can have more nuanced meanings.

What does it mean "compromised"? Top layer is bad? The top layer has been compromised by what? Can she just say it without telling by what?
It means the top layer is somehow broken, damaged or spoilt. As readers, we can't know by what, or in what way, but viewers of the show can see the dessert. So can the person being spoken to can. So there is no need to explain.
This is the second post I've seen you make where you're English examples are grammatically incorrect. This is fine if you're writing them yourself, but if you're using them to study, I would find other resources. The part "have layer" is wrong. It's must either be "have layered" or "layer". "will" should be "would".
Cherish Finden is from Singapore so, although she speaks English very well, it may not be her native language.
Thank you. I'm glad to know that was practice and not a reference material.
It is saying that something from another layer has made it to the top layer. An example would be if you had a two layer cake where the top layer is chocolate flavored and the bottom layer is vanilla, but some of the vanilla from the bottom layer has mixed in with the chocolate(top) layer.
Compromised means something happened to it so that it’s not working like it should. If in this case it’s an object so it refers to damage done to it.
Would someone be kind enough to explain to me why the past tense is use in this sentence for the word « stopped »? Why the infinitive form is not use? Can we please, in the name of all that is good and holy, stopped pretending there is some kind of constitutional impediment to improving care for elders -- or health care more generally. Nothing prevents federal-provincial co-operation or cost-sharing. Thank you for your help
Hello everyone! I'm studying English and I'm looking for a partner to practice my speaking skill. If you can help me please let me know. 😊 I'm a native spanish speaker and if you want or need I can help you learning and practice my mother language.
that evening I took a rag and wipe the mower down, parked it in a corner of the garage and—a little admission here—patted it on the top of the gas tank. what does this mean,“a little admission here”?
