MWT: Tank Battles

Greetings! We’ve gathered a small selection of the most frequent questions about MWT: Tank Battles. Thank you for your feedback and support!

Can we choose different types of weapons, switch modules? How will leveling up work?

There’s a vast amount of weapons, ammunition, suspensions, and other important vehicle parts to choose from. In the workshop you’ll be able to improve your vehicle stats according to your play style: raise its speed, durability, rotation speed of its hull or turret.

Each vehicle has its own equipment to research and use as you level it up. They include new ammunition types, improvements of weaponry, armor, and chassis, better devices and instruments.

We’ll tell you more about vehicle improvements in one of the future news.

Tell us more about how vehicle damage works in the game.

Depending on the type and power of a shell it can penetrate (or fail to penetrate) the armor, deal damage to it (it has a specific amount of durability or HP), destroy a module or a mechanism. The shells can ricochet as well.

Penetration is determined by the angle at which the shell hits the vehicle, the type of the shell, and the vehicle’s armor. DAS and reactive armor are implemented in the game.

Will there be day and night, winter and summer?

We can create different times of day and seasons in the game. The time of day affects the tactics: for example, during night time night vision devices come in handy.

And, of course, there are various atmospheric maps. For example, Hazbari Island that we told you about recently will have its night version.

Will there be mid-battle repairs, like in Modern Warships?

Yes, you will be able to repair your vehicles to continue lighting effectively. There will be a limited number of repair kits to use in each battle.

How many players will fight in each battle?

We’ll start by matching 6 v 6 players, and then look at the test results: maybe we’ll increase this number.

Will there be an offline mode with bots, and how different will it be in terms of earning experience and currency?

Offline mode is in the works. You will be able to earn experience and currency in it.

How does scouting work in the game?

Each vehicle has a camouflage stat that affects its discoverability by an enemy. Before the vehicle is spotted, it can be seen by the player, but there’s no aim assist or player nickname. Smoke will also disable aim assist and hide the nickname.

Scouting distance for ground and air vehicles is different. During movement and shooting the vehicles are more likely to be spotted.

Aviation detailed

Starting from a certain stage of progress of your account, you’ll get access to two new development branches: aircraft and helicopters.

There can be only one helicopter and one aircraft at a time per each team. You can lift off or land, attack ground vehicles or fight the enemy’s air forces.

When will the game be released?

The most frequent question =)

We’ve decided to improve more on several aspects of the game. We want the game to be fully in line with our vision and standards. We’ll launch as soon as we feel it’s ready for testing, so that even the first players of MWT: Tank Battles feel that it’s a quality product that can provide as many positive emotions as possible.

Meanwhile we’ll keep telling you about the development of the game.
