#mate (beta)Today, we’re once again reviewing the week and sharing our plans. But first, let’s go over what was done today:
1. Block Reward in $MATE Increased 3x
A few days ago, we introduced ad-watching tasks, making it significantly easier to earn $MATE. To balance miner earnings, we’ve tripled the block reward for $MATE!
2. First-1 Miner Now Available for $TON
Friendly reminder: on February 11, the limited First-1 miner will be permanently removed from the shop. For these final days, we’ve added the option to purchase it for 0.037 $TON.
What Was Done This Week?
1. Limited Founder Miner for TON
• Only 150 copies were available
• Sold out in less than a day!
• This miner is unique and can no longer be obtained except through trading with other players which will comes in future.
2. New Mining Coin - PX!
3. The First Mega Block!
Mega blocks can have multipliers up to x100, and this time we hit x4. We understand that some players were expecting higher multipliers but we promise you’ll see a x50+ reward soon!
4. Task Updates & New “Watch AD” Task
• Earning $MATE is now easier than ever.
• The “Invite a Friend” task is no longer required for the main reward!
Future Plans
1. Adaptive Block Unlocking 🚀
Currently, block rewards are fixed and manually adjusted. The original concept was for rewards to self-adjust based on the number of players, mining power, and many other factors. We’ve been testing this system to ensure it works properly and soon we’ll roll it out!
2. Block Mechanic Rework
We’ve always said the current mining system isn’t final. Our goal is to give even low-power miners a chance at big rewards. Our new concept is:
• 60-70% of rewards go to a one random miner based on power or other parameters (ex: more power = more chance to get a reward).
• 30-40% is shared among all other active miners.
3. NFT Mining? 👀
Sounds interesting, right? We’re working on a system for mining Telegram NFT gifts giving everyone a chance to mine Plush Pepe. This is still in development and we’ll share final details soon!
4. Utility for Limited Miners
We’ve mentioned unique utilities for limited miners before. For example, NFT mining will be one of these perks. Additionally, limited miners may play a role in the new block mechanics, affecting individual reward chances.
Little tip: Get at least one First-1 miner now while it’s under $0.20—it’ll be removed from the store in just a few days!
5. A New Coin!
Next week, we’ll add a new mining coin, and from then on players will vote on which coin to add next. Got any suggestions? Share them in the chat!
6. Daily Streaks
We’ve noticed issues with the streak mechanic:
• Many users don’t understand how it works.
• It’s frustrating - missing one day resets all progress.
• Too many accounts stay in passive mining taking rewards from active players.
We’re considering removing streaks in favor of a simple mining maintenance system.
7. Continued Quest Improvements
Over the past few days, we’ve gathered feedback on the reworked tasks. Next week we’ll adjust rewards and conditions.
We’re also adding a new ad network - AdSonar to make ad-watching tasks easier especially in regions with fewer available ads.
