Doubts are growing among the US military about the expediency of conducting a US operation against Iran.

This is reported by the American online publication HuffPost with reference to several military personnel.

"I hear words from the military: "We don't want to die for Israel — we don't want to be political pawns," the newspaper quoted one of the reservists as saying.

The article also says that some US military personnel refuse to serve. The likelihood of an American ground operation in Iran could turn into a "complete disaster," one of the military personnel interviewed added.
