Waylately is a private offline trip planner designed to keep the practical parts of a journey together: dates, daily plans, accommodation notes, budgets, expenses, and packing lists.

This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use Waylately.

Before the Journey — Privacy by Design

Waylately is designed to work without requiring an account, online profile, or developer-operated cloud service.

Your trip plans are intended to remain on the device where you create them.

The developer does not operate a remote database containing copies of your personal itineraries.

Your Travel Plans

When you create a trip, Waylately may store information that you choose to enter, such as trip names, departure and return dates, itinerary items, accommodation details, booking notes, budget amounts, expenses, categories, packing items, and other notes connected with the trip.

This information is used only to provide the planning features of the application.

It is not transmitted to the developer.

No Account Required

Waylately does not require registration or sign-in.

There is no Waylately username, password, or online profile that must be created before using the app.

Your trips are therefore not associated with a developer-controlled online identity.

Personal Information

Waylately does not collect personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, home address, payment-card details, contacts, or precise location for a developer-operated account.

The developer does not receive the contents of the trips you create in the app.

Day-by-Day Itineraries

Each trip may contain individual days with plans arranged in the order you choose.

An itinerary item may contain a time, title, place name, accommodation note, booking status, description, or other information entered by the user.

These records are stored locally so that the trip can be viewed and edited later.

Confirmed and Tentative Plans

Waylately may allow you to distinguish between plans that are booked or confirmed and plans that are still tentative.

These labels exist only for personal organization.

Waylately does not automatically contact hotels, airlines, restaurants, ticket providers, or other businesses to confirm the status of an itinerary item.

Accommodation and Booking Notes

You may choose to enter information related to accommodation or reservations.

Such information is stored as part of your local trip plan.

Waylately is not a booking platform and does not transmit these notes to travel providers.

Trip Budgets

Waylately may allow you to set a budget for an individual trip.

The app can compare that amount with expenses you record and display how much of the budget has been used or remains available.

Budget calculations are performed locally on your device.

Expenses

You may record planned or actual trip expenses.

An expense may include an amount, date, category, title, or optional note.

Categories may include lodging, food, transportation, activities, shopping, or other travel costs.

Waylately does not send expense records to the developer.

Financial Information

Waylately is a travel-planning and budgeting tool, not a financial service.

The core application does not require access to your bank account, payment cards, or financial institution.

Amounts shown inside the app are based on information entered by the user and should be treated as personal planning records.

Budget Categories and Totals

Waylately may calculate totals by category to help users understand where trip spending is concentrated.

These calculations are based entirely on locally stored expense records.

They are not produced by a remote financial-analysis service.

Packing Checklist

Waylately may include a packing checklist so users can record items they want to take on a trip and mark them as completed.

Packing items and their completion states are stored locally.

They are not uploaded or shared with other Waylately users.

Offline Use

Waylately's core functionality is designed to work offline.

Your itinerary, expense history, budget information, and packing list can remain available even when the device does not have an internet connection.

No online connection is required for normal trip-planning features.

No Waylately Cloud

Waylately does not require a developer-provided cloud synchronization service.

Your travel plans do not need to be uploaded to a remote Waylately server for the application to function.

The developer does not maintain a cloud copy of your itinerary.

Location Information

Waylately does not require continuous precise-location tracking for its core functionality.

A destination, hotel name, city, attraction, or other place written into an itinerary is treated as ordinary text entered by the user rather than as live location tracking.

Device Permissions

Waylately does not require access to sensitive device features such as contacts, microphone, messages, call history, or precise location for its core trip-planning functionality.

Advertising

Waylately does not display third-party advertisements.

The app does not use your destinations, travel dates, expenses, or packing lists to create an advertising profile.

Analytics and Tracking

Waylately does not use itineraries, trip budgets, destinations, or travel history for cross-app tracking or behavioral advertising.

The developer does not receive a detailed history of your planned trips.

Waylately does not sell, rent, trade, or share your itineraries, budgets, expense records, packing lists, or personal information with advertisers, data brokers, or unrelated third parties.

Your trip records are intended to remain private.

Local Storage

Waylately may store trip names, travel dates, daily plans, notes, accommodation information, budget amounts, expenses, packing lists, and application preferences in local storage on your device.

This information generally remains available until you delete it, clear the application's data, or uninstall Waylately.

Removing Your Data

Individual trips, itinerary items, expense records, or packing-list items may be removed through the application's available controls.

You can also generally remove all locally stored Waylately information by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the application.

Uninstalling Waylately may permanently remove locally stored trips unless the operating system or another service has independently created a device backup.

Travel Accuracy

Waylately stores and displays information entered by the user.

It does not independently verify travel schedules, opening hours, reservation status, transport times, prices, or other travel conditions.

Users should confirm important travel information directly with the relevant provider before relying on it.

Children's Privacy

Waylately does not knowingly collect personal information from children or from any other users through a developer-operated account system.

No personal information needs to be submitted to the developer in order to create a trip.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated if future versions of Waylately introduce new features or change how information is handled.

The latest version of this Privacy Policy will remain available on the published policy page.
