1. iRobot Roomba j7+
The Roomba j7+ is iRobot's most advanced robot vacuum to date. Its most notable innovation, however, is its camera-based obstacle-detection system. It makes use of AI to recognize objects such as charging cords and shoes. It's also the first to automatically send you photos of the object it comes across to let you know to avoid it in the future.
The Combo J7+ is the most efficient robot mop that we have ever tested. It cleans up dirt and spills easily and leaves no trace of it was there. The iRobot application makes it simple to control. The iRobot Home App is easy to use, however we found it less reliable than other robotic cleaner applications. It can take a while to download updates, and it's sometimes difficult to tell whether they're functioning until you actually witness them in action.
2. Roborock Q5+
When you're looking for a robot vacuum that does more than just clean floors, the most effective option is likely to be hybrid. These robots come with a water tank, so they can vacuum and mop simultaneously. They also come with a variety of additional features, such as smart mapping, small obstacle avoidance, and the ability to dry and wash mopping pads. They are expensive at retail, but they often are reduced on Black Friday or Cyber Monday.
Roborock is one of our top robot vacuums, and the Q5+ isn't an exception. This is the cheapest model in their auto-empty line. While it may not include some of the luxurious features (like no-go zones or multi-story memories), it's still an excellent option when you're willing to make a few compromises to save a few bucks.
The Q5+ is remarkably gentle when it comes to obstacles like table legs and walls. This makes it an ideal option for homes with a lot of furniture. It's also very thorough when it comes to cleaning dust bunnies, which is a problem which many robot vacuum s often be a bit sloppy. The Q5+'s navigation system is superb, with only a few mishaps along walls or in corners.

This feature isn't required for everyone, but it can help you effectively keep the robot's maintenance schedules.
3. Narwal Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a clever well-rounded vacuum and mop. It's capable of vacuuming and mopping. Its design and features are among the most advanced available - but it's also pricey.
It's a small base station that looks stunning and is able to be concealed when not in use. The main reason to buy the station is that it can automate many tasks, functions and chores that other robots would leave to you. It can store dirty and clean water and electrolyze and heat the water. Many other robots require you to do this.
Its vacuuming is also impressive. It's one of the only robovacs that I've tested that do very well at picking up debris on bare floors, and it's not as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot 900 series.
But the Freo X Ultra has its shortcomings, particularly in terms of navigation. Its LiDAR sensors and laser sensors aren’t as reliable as other robotvacs. This means that it can get stuck or confused in certain areas or rooms in the home. It's also unable to climb stairs as well as other models and isn't equipped with a dock to create a cleaning zone for carpets that are soft.
While it doesn't offer as much in the way of cleaning options available in its app or as many in-app shortcuts as some other robovacs, the Freo X Ultra is still an excellent choice for anyone looking for a comprehensive mop and vacuum cleaner that's worth the price price.
If you're looking to cut costs or aren't averse to the limitations of the robot, there are many other options available. Many eufy models cost significantly less. The eufy Qrevo curv, for instance, is cheaper and has more features, including the ability to climb stairs and a full-function Dock, which provides a better overall vacuuming experience on bare floors, low-pile carpets as well as high-pile carpets.

eufy, an Anker company is a long-standing leader of producing robot vacuums that strike the right balance between performance, features and price.
