Авторы ежегодного календаря Warwick Rowers с фотографиями обнажённых гребцов Уорикского университета не смогли доставить посылки в Россию и обвинили закон о запрете ЛГБТ-пропаганды. В Федеральной таможенной службе это отрицают и не знают, почему посылки не дошли.
Начиная с 2009 года, британская команда по гребле Уорикского университета снимается обнажённой для новогоднего календаря. Авторы Warwick Rowers выступают против гомофобии в спорте и заодно хотят повысить интерес студентов к занятиям греблей. Средства с продажи выпусков идут на благотворительность: ежегодно они собирают более 200 тысяч фунтов.
5 декабря один из создателей Warwick Rowers Ангус Малкольм (Angus Malcolm) дал интервью изданиям The Times и Independent , в которых рассказал о проблемах с доставкой новых календарей в Россию.
Если возникают проблемы с правилами или упаковкой посылок, то обычно их останавливают британские таможенники. Так что, если претензии возникли у российской стороны, должно быть, дело в содержании календарей.
Календари начали рассылать 30 ноября: на официальном сайте они стоят по 25 фунтов за штуку (около 2 тысяч рублей). По словам Малкольма, выпуски не пропустили через границу без объяснения причин, а после на сайт Warwick Rowers совершили DDoS-атаку с российских IP-адресов.
Создатели считают, что календарь не прошёл таможню из-за законодательного запрета на ЛГБТ-пропаганду среди несовершеннолетних в России ( статья 6.21 КоАП РФ ).
Мы не можем придумать другие причины. Нам отказались пропускать через таможню шесть календарей, заказанных на мужские имена. Есть ещё несколько заказов, но мы пока не знаем, что с ними.
В пресс-службе Федеральной таможенной службы по Центральному федеральному округу заявили Би-би-си, что не знают о возврате посылок с календарями по обратным адресам. «У нас закрадываются сомнения в правдивости этих статей», — отметили в ФТС.
Пресс-секретарь Екатерина Анчипорова добавила, что посылки не распечатываются, а проходят рентген, поэтому таможенники не могли увидеть изображения на бумаге. Вскрыть посылку можно только в случае появления конкретных подозрений: для этого составляют специальный акт и приглашают сотрудника «Почты России».
В пресс-службе добавили, что если авторы передадут трек-номера посылок или укажут регион доставки, то таможенники смогут рассказать о причинах возврата посылок.

We began life as the Warwick Rowers naked calendar at one sports club in England in 2009. Now, as the Worldwide Roar, we invite sportsmen from different sports and diverse lived experiences to join us in our campaign for healthier versions of masculinity. We’ve come a long way since our first calendar, but we will always be WR!

The Worldwide Roar is a mental health project with a human rights message. Drawing on ten years of learning as the Warwick Rowers calendar project, the Roar campaigns for healthier masculinities, raises funds for charity and supports men to become active partners in creating a more inclusive world that combats structural racism, promotes LGBTQ+ rights and gender equality, and seeks to empower men to become part of the solution in a world that is trying to recover from hegemonic masculinity.
The Roar is intended to open a global, mindful conversation with everyone affected by male mental health and the impact of hegemonic masculinity.
With the help of our partners and supporters in the arts, media, academia, human rights and sport, we plan to build on a decade of global success.
