Wallpapers For AA 3.0

The moment has come and the big refactoring is now complete!

Introducing the biggest update to Wallpapers For Android Auto

All the versions are now to version 3.0 and the theme has been completely re-written to be compliant to the new Android Auto wallpaper selection feature.

In case you missed the news, I strongly suggest to read this article. This change is clearly a very welcomed change for all Android Auto users, but 6 wallpapers will not complete to the 800+ wallpaper collection of WP4AA.

But this new feature is actually a leverage for my theme, because with version 3.0 you can say welcome to packs!

Since there will be a graphical user interface to change the wallpaper on the car's screen (see more here) I made so that some wallpapers are now part of a pack. So, per say, let's pick "Art Painting - Monet". Before, they were two different options but now:

As you can see, the two pictures form a pack and can be switched when Android Auto is running!

The packs will be marked with "PACK" at the end of the name. For now I merged some older wallpapers into packs and made some new requested ones, but probably in the future some more wallpapers will be merged into packs.

This change will bring smaller menus and an actual very good way to have switchable wallpapers while Android Auto is running!

PAY ATTENTION!!!!

Most probably, you haven't recieved the new wallpaper feature. If you haven't received you have two alternatives:

1) Don't update Wallpapers For Android Auto to version 3.0

2) Use my app "AA AIO TWEAKER" and force the activation of this feature. Root is required, can be downloaded from here: https://github.com/shmykelsa/AA-Tweaker/releases

WARNING: this feature is supported on Android Auto 5.8 or above. Be sure to check Android Auto version first before updating.

CHANGED: Theme now follows the new implementation of wallpaper of Android Auto 5.8>
CHANGED: Merged several wallpapers into packs. They can be found with the word "PACK" at the end

Wallpapers For Android Auto - Vehicles (3.0)

CHANGED: Theme now follows the new implementation of wallpaper of Android Auto 5.8>
CHANGED: All wallpapers with brands and badges are now renamed and they are all packs. Wallpapers with brands are now named "Brands - XXXX" and wallpapers with badges are now "Badges - YYYY"
FIXED: some issues with Chevrolet wallpaper
CHANGED: welcome dialog will not ask to rate on XDA Labs anymore since it's dead :)

Wallpapers For Android Auto - Sport (3.0)

CHANGED: Theme now follows the new implementation of wallpaper of Android Auto 5.8>

CLEAN INSTALL IS REQUIRED!!!

Since the theme has been basically re-written, if you have previously installed options of Wallpapers For Android it is best advised to uninstall them before applying new version.
