Prize fund: Up to $30,000 in Toncoin
Deadline: May 19th at 23:59 Dubai time
Who can participate: Everyone

Wallet in Telegram is holding its first-ever main screen redesign contest. The grand prize is $5,000 (to be paid in Toncoin), and the winner may have the opportunity to join the Wallet design team or The Open Platform team.

The Task

Reimagine the Wallet in Telegram main screen for iOS and Android. Your concept should maintain simplicity and align with Telegram's guidelines and aesthetics on the respective platforms.

Your design should cover various scenarios and related elements and components. The focus should be on users experiencing cryptocurrency for the first time through Wallet. Ensure it is user-friendly and easily understandable.

Follow these guidelines in your design:

  1. Simplify Wallet Navigation: Quick access to sending and funding cryptocurrency is our priority. Users should easily access features like exchanging cryptocurrency, the P2P Market, bank card withdrawal, QR scanner, and settings. For smoother navigation, adjustments can also be made to the transaction list display.
  2. Reconsider the separation of Wallet and TON Space: TON Space is a decentralized wallet and your blockchain profile in TON. It has a separate address on the blockchain, supports all assets on TON (including NFTs), and can be used to connect to any Web3 Mini Apps. TON Space is no longer just a separate account in the list of assets in Wallet. Provide two options: when TON Space is enabled and disabled for the user.
  3. We anticipate an increase in available assets: Currently, Toncoin, Dollars (USDT), and Bitcoin are available. Ensure quick access to assets without compromising access to other Wallet functionalities.
  4. Incorporate a space to promote new features and promo campaigns: Ensure users can easily discover new functionalities without being overwhelmed. For instance, when we announce that we've added a passcode feature, they should be able to set it up immediately.

Giveaways and promo campaigns become part of the asset list but can get their own convenient entry point. When designing, look at our Raffles, Wallet Earn campaign, and Premium giveaways.

Submission Format:

  1. The layouts can be implemented as static .png files. For any animation demos, use .mp4 format (without sound). Source files and properly structured Figma projects are also welcome.
  2. If you include videos, you must also provide several static .png images from each video that serve as a storyboard.
  3. If you use complex animated icons, they must be in lottie json or .tgs format.
  4. Design interfaces in English with localization support.

Ensure the main screen aligns with Telegram clients for iOS and Android. We recommend using the following iOS and Android Figma libraries when designing.

Submissions with detailed visualizations, such as videos showcasing your project from an overall perspective, transitions between screens, and element animations are more likely to rank higher.

Submissions:

Submit your design by pre-packaging it as a ZIP-archive and sending it to @WalletContestBot.

Please start uploading your file early so that you have enough time to complete the process. You may resubmit your file at any time before the deadline.
