Amazing show! Carl Kasell and Peter Sagal are a humorous team that take the week's news point out the irony, discontinuity, or radicalness. The panel adds comedy to the mix, and together, they are the best way to enjoy the week's events. In my opinion, the Paula Poundstone episodes are the best.
I’ve been listening to the show since I was in high school 20 years ago and overall inconsistently love it. However, the only regular female guests I really enjoy are Paula and Maeve- not only do I find them the funniest, but their voices are least grating to listen to for an hour. Please continue trying to bring in some new female talent with humor and voices for radio. Also, like everyone else has mentioned, I find the new Wednesday show absolutely intolerable. Who would possibly enjoy that? How did it get produced?
