WSPhone — Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how WSPhone ("we", "our", or "the App") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the WSPhone application on iOS and Android platforms.

1. Information We Collect

WSPhone collects the following data necessary for app functionality:

Account credentials (username) for authentication
Device token for push notifications — Apple Push Notification Service (APNs) / PushKit on iOS, and Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) on Android
Basic device information (device model, OS version) for call routing and troubleshooting
Network information required to establish and maintain VoIP connections

2. Permissions

To provide core functionality, WSPhone may request the following device permissions:

Microphone — required for voice calls
Phone / Call management — for integration with the device's calling interface (CallKit on iOS, ConnectionService on Android)
Contacts — optional, to display caller names (only if granted by the user)
Notifications — to deliver incoming call alerts

You can manage these permissions at any time through your device settings.

3. How We Use Your Information

Collected data is used solely to:

Authenticate users and provide access to the App
Deliver incoming VoIP call notifications
Maintain call quality and connection stability
Diagnose technical issues and improve app performance

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on our servers at proxy.callphone.su
We implement industry-standard security measures (encryption in transit and at rest) to protect your information
Passwords are stored in hashed/encrypted form and are never stored in plain text

5. Third-Party Services and SDKs

Linphone SDK — used for VoIP functionality. Linphone processes audio data during active calls only.
Firebase Cloud Messaging (Android) — used for delivering push notifications on Android devices. Firebase may collect device identifiers in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy (https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy).
Apple Push Notification Service / PushKit (iOS) — used for delivering push notifications and incoming call alerts on iOS devices.

We do not sell, trade, or transfer your personal data to third parties
Data is not used for advertising, analytics profiling, or tracking purposes
We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our legal rights

7. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your personal data only for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at: rubanroman@hotmail.com

8. Children's Privacy

WSPhone is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, we will take steps to delete such information.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
