As for BlizzCon -- be certain that you may have plenty of water along, the convention corridor is greater than it appears to be like! Show up for panels early, verify the events schedule and figure out what you wish to hit prematurely. Additionally -- comfy sneakers. Critically, Roof is on fire will be on your feet pretty much all day lengthy. Comfy shoes are one of the best!

As for BlizzCon, I've yet to go, but if I needed to guess from past experiences with academic conferences and the like, have just one bit of advice: Do not wear heels.
Alex Ziebart (@AlexZiebart) (gplus.to/alexziebart) Been playing some Useless Island and hopefully will get a hefty amount of co-op time in with a buddy of mine. Good coop games are far more uncommon than they must be.
For BlizzCon, take extra shirts than you suppose you may want. Should you get tremendous-sweaty, cease into your hotel room and alter shirts. It is better than being smelly and uncomfortable all day.

Daniel Desmond (@hazmacewillraid) I'll be doing a bit of little bit of PTR spelunking, trying out the brand new dungeons and paladin changes, however mostly I'll be scratching just a few extra tallies into my wall with a plastic spoon, counting the days till Skyrim releases.
As for BlizzCon, this will likely be my first! As such, I will be sticking to my guildmates like black leather seats on a scorching summer time day.
Daniel Whitcomb (@DanielWhitcomb) Since my mage and warrior are on hold till the 4.Three goes reside, I could see if I can solo me some more tier 5 for my warlock. I'm additionally taking part in some Aquaria and Bastion (again) on Steam, so I may do some extra with those games.
My advice? Hygiene. Particularly, double-, triple-, and quadruple-examine your travel bag. When you miss one thing like a toothbrush or a shaving kit, likelihood is you'll should pay an arm and a leg to exchange it.

Recommendation for BlizzCon? Hmm ... Waiting in the badge pick-up line isn't needed if you don't must be the primary one into opening ceremonies. Simply decide up your badge while everyone seems to be in line for the ceremonies and you will be in and out in 5 minutes.

Fox Van Allen (@foxvanallen) (gplus.to/foxvanallen) I've been in Philly for a stable part of the week, and I'll be staying in Philly throughout the weekend hanging with my buddy Chester. All kinds of fun shall be had. Like at this time, I ate Dutch food. We are a terribly boring folks, we Dutch.
My BlizzCon advice: If you want to cling out with Fox, I suggest you get your request in forward of time, as a result of there are lots of you, very few nights in stunning Southern California, and just one Fox. Further, I counsel anyone who is just not from an space with Jack in the Field restaurants to go eat at a Jack in the Box restaurant. Oh my god.

Largest BlizzCon blunder: not sporting comfy and supportive sneakers. Significantly, you stand and walk a lot that you're a idiot if you don't. Also, the amount of ache your toes will probably be in might be stunning. Also, drink / deliver plenty of water and attempt to eat outdoors of the convention center. Heaps of fine local locations to nom issues at that are a fast walk from the convention center.
Josh Myers (@Elamqt) I am liking my army of premade and essential-transferred shaman on the PTR. I even have a lone mage premade who was arrange with spec/glyphs/keybinds/etc. and then promptly forgotten.
I have no BlizzCon recommendation, although I caution all Wow Insider meetup attendees to avoid eye contact with Fox. That is just frequent sense, although.

Kelly Aarons (@Cadistra) Hoping for some quality time with my DS, however I am undecided, as I'll be working at my job, doing art, and it is Thanksgiving up here in Canada-land, so there's that. I'll be heading out of city Sunday night time to see my household.
BlizzCon advice? Take the health-check:
Bring numerous water with you.
Wear comfy footwear (with insoles if obligatory). Remember to stretch your decrease again every hour or so!
Carry some protein-rich snacks with you -- pure food bars, dry-roasted nuts (like almonds and cashews). Con meals is overpriced and full of crap, and this will keep you fuller longer. /health nerd

This may only be my second BlizzCon, however the most important factor I picked up last 12 months is to be actually early to something you need to go to -- panels or whatever. Aside from badge pickup on Thursday evening. It's open for hours and badges aren't restricted in the identical method seats or area is.
