What is Fanton and fantasy football

Fantasy football is a genre of games where participants create a football team and score points for the players' effective actions in real matches.

In the Fanton Fantasy Football project, the game takes place in a web app bot within Telegram. You use teams from Free cards or NFT cards, register them for available Tournaments from the top-5 European championships, Brazil, Champions League/Europe League. Right now we are playin EURO-2024. Then you follow real matches, score points for the effective actions of the selected footballers, and win prizes.

How to Play in the WHALE EURO-2024 Tournament

Group Stage

Grand fantasy tournament Whale EURO-2024 will take place during the European Championship, held in Germany by UEFA from June 14 to July 14, 2024.

During the group stage, Fanton players will face 12 Rounds. Each Round features a separate Common tournament in the format "one game day — one tournament." The exception is the debut game between Germany and Scotland, which we have combined with the 2nd game day.

The tournament begins on June 14th. Before this date, you need to register your teams for the 1st Round of the tournament!

In each of the 12 Rounds of the group stage, players can win tickets to the next Round. There are 12 Rounds in total, and the group stage prize is tickets to the play-off stage. Tickets to the next round are the only prize in each of the 12 rounds of the group stage.

The first Round is a one where you can register one team for free. From the 2nd to the 12th rounds, each user can also register teams, but the entry fee increases with each round. Therefore, it is important to declare your lineup (or lineups) in the first stage.

In the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th rounds, you can also register one team for Free by completing a partner task from Whale.

In each of the 12 rounds, players can register from 1 to 10 teams. What does this mean?

Players can attempt to advance to the play-offs using 10 lineups. Each lineup is a separate attempt to accumulate points and break through the group stage over the course of 12 rounds. Imagine having up to 10 attempts, each giving you a chance to advance to the play-offs.

Example 1: player named AlexW registers 5 diverse lineups for the 1st round of EURO. The first lineup is Free. For teams 2-5, AlexW paid 0.25 TON each. In total, AlexW has 5 lineups that are accumulating points and trying to advance to the 2nd round of EURO, which takes place the next day.

As a result, all 5 of AlexW's teams placed in the top 90% of lineups at the end of the 1st round and advanced to the 2nd round. The next day, AlexW will assemble 5 lineups to try to advance to the 3rd round. His goal is to get all his lineups into the playoffs by the end of the 12th round.

Example 2: player named Ibai registered one team for free for the 1st round of EURO. After the first round ended, his team did not make the top 90% and was eliminated from the tournament. Ibai wants to continue competing and takes 10 teams (at 0.5 TON each) when registering for the 2nd round of EURO on the 2rd game day of the championship. Ultimately, Ibai advances to the 3rd round with six teams that made it into the top 80% at the end of the 2nd round.

As you can see, the cost of registering lineups increases from round 1 to round 12. Also, the number of fantasy players who advance to the next round decreases. This can be seen in the following table:

At the end of the 12 Rounds, we will find out which Fanton players are worthy to compete in the final play-off tournament. To advance to the play-offs, players need to rank in the top 60% of lineups by the end of the 12th round.

The main prize of $100,000 will be awarded to the top-40% of fantasy players who make it through the qualifying stage and perform well in the play-off stage.

Players who do not meet the play-off participation requirement can purchase additional tickets to participate at a price of 54 TON per ticket. Additionally, legendary NFT cards from the Welcome to FTON collection provide a special opportunity to register one team for the playoff stage, featuring the Legendary NFTs in this collection.

Play-off Stage

Tournament consisting of five Rounds: two Round of 16, after Quarter-finals, Semi-finals and Final. Each of the user's teams participating in the play-offs accumulates points sequentially in these five tournaments. The total points of each team determine that team's final position in the overall play-off stage leaderboard. This means players can enter the play-offs with up to 10 teams, and some (or all) of these teams may finish in the top-40%, which are considered prize-winning positions.

When registering a team for the play-off stage, that team is assigned a game number. This number can be used to track and distinguish your teams from each other.

After the play-off stage begins on June 29, there will be no opportunity to obtain or purchase additional tickets to the play-off tournament with access to the guaranteed prize pool of $100,000.

Prize Pool of $100,000

At the end of the play-off stage, the top-40% of teams will share the tournament's prize pool. If multiple teams from a single player finish in the prize zone, the player will collect winnings from each team — the more of your teams that finish in the top-40%, the larger the jackpot you can win!

The prize pool will be distributed to the winners of WHALE EURO-2024 within 14 days after the conclusion of the EURO-2024 final, in the form of TON or USDT.

Can I play for free?
