New design and architectural solutions for the wind power complex

Taking into account the growing public interest in the new technical solution, promotion of the W.E.T.E.R project and the object under development in the market, in November 2022, the project team specialists prepared  new design and architectural solutions for the wind power complex, which have been reflected in a number of proposed graphic images. The proposed conceptual draft projects are aimed at demonstrating the diversity of design and architectural solutions of power-generating building, the possibility of its embedding (use) not only in modern architecture, but also in a particular historical development. A variety of structural forms of capital construction object allows creating wind energy complexes in Western Europe, America, Africa, in the Middle East and Indochina.

The design and architectural design solutions use an eclectic style which is a synthesis of Art Nouveau and Neoclassicism, the so-called Art Deco architectural style. This style was significantly influenced by such artistic trends as Cubism, Constructivism and Futurism, intertwined with Oriental, African and other exotic motifs. The style is characterized by strict regularity, bold geometric lines, ethnic geometric patterns, decoration in halftones, lack of bright colors in the decoration. In Canada, Australia, the United States, the Netherlands, France, and some other countries Art Deco style gradually evolved towards functionalism, which is quite compatible with a bold technical solution - a wind energy building and its architectural forms.

The W.E.T.E.R project team partially used forms of various buildings and constructions by Santiago Calatrava Valls, a famous architect and engineer, who is the recognized leader in "biotech" - a combination of ultramodern technology and natural forms. The authors of the design solutions in the graphic solutions followed the futuristic examples, graceful and expressive designs of famous architects of the recent past and present. These solutions are defined by the desire for proportionality of all parts of the whole, harmony, elegance, natural design (eco-architecture) and lyricism, which is especially characteristic of the architecture of the Middle East and Indochina.

Created different exterior appearance of electric generating building can translate into a variety of architectural solutions, update the present appearance of modern cities and create a continuity of historical architectural solutions. The proposed design-architectural forms can be coordinated with modern trends in construction and architecture, which is one of the factors determining the perspective of the developed wind energy building. Graphic sketches of the wind power complex show the possibility to fit it into the architecture of modern cities and combine with its diversity.
