What does your company do? What services, or products, do you provide? Spotter designs, manufactures and supports ground and aerial Compact Surveillance Radar (CSR) in the United States at our headquarters in Orem, UT. Our software is built from the ground up with dedicated personnel that ensures the highest quality product for our customers. We install and maintain our devices as well as integrate our products with a wide variety of cameras, VMS/PSIM systems and sensor devices.
How long has your company been in the physical security market? Spotter was founded in 2008 to develop and manufacture Compact Surveillance Radar to protect troops deployed around the world from harm. In 2013 we saw the need for an innovative and user-friendly commercial product to protect critical infrastructure. Since that time, Spotter has expanded its offering to include models and form factors that cover areas ranging from one acre to 380 acres and verticals that go far beyond critical infrastructure. This development and expansion allows us to fulfill our mission of preventing harm.
Why did you join ONVIF and how long has your company been a member? Spotter joined ONVIF in April 2021 to support our development plans to make our web-based “NetworkedIO” application an ONVIF conformant product.
To which specific profiles do your company’s products conform, and why is that beneficial to your business? We are in the final steps of support for Profile T with plans to develop support for Profile M and S.
What does it mean to you to be a member of ONVIF and what kinds of business impacts have you seen as a result? We are excited to be able to publish our conformance with ONVIF Profiles so that we can better support our customers in integrating our platform with their video management systems. We constantly see demand in the market for products like Spotter to be integrated into one central platform for ease of management and response. Integrations like this allow our end customers to be able to protect their assets more efficiently and effectively.
Are there any specific benefits membership brings to your business? Prior to becoming ONVIF conformant, Spotter has been building individual drivers for various video management systems. Becoming conformant with ONVIF will allow us to provide a single driver to support multiple systems. This brings value to our resellers by enabling them to perform integrations between our platform and others more easily and effectively.

We zijn de website aan het (her)bouwen en het zal na de vele bewerkingen (in 2020-2021) hopelijk actueel zijn.
De titel van deze pagina; ‘Nederlands allerlei met Jerry Bey’, is van zijn radio Veronica programma in de jaren zestig van de vorige eeuw.
Dit programma werd op vaste land opgenomen en op de Veronica boot in de Noordzee uitgezonden.
Een Nederlandse zanger (hij leefde van 1 oktober 1923 tot 23 april 1984) die volgens velen niet de aandacht kreeg die hij verdiende. Dankzij deze website krijgt hij alsnog dit eerbetoon!
U zult versteld staan hoeveel fans er toen waren en nog altijd zijn!
Zijn heldere uitspraak en inhoud van zijn liedjes brengen mensen nog altijd in beroering. Gezien de vele bezoekers sinds de start van zijn website (sinds januari 2004) is het een succes. Tienduizenden bezoekers gingen u voor uit verschillende Nederlandstalige landen, maar ook bijvoorbeeld uit Italië.
Van zijn eerste TV optreden met ‘Omaatje’ (KRO televisie 9 maart 1965 van regisseur Hans Bik) werd zelfs meer dan 5.000 singles in Italië verkocht via het platenlabel Telstar (Johnny Hoes).
In ons land werden er van de plaat ruim 100.000 verkocht (onderzoek radio Veronica), maar toen hield Telstar het op ‘slechts’ 95.000, zodat het bedrijf er geen gouden plaat van hoefde uit te reiken. Jammer.

Voor degene die hem niet echt kenden; Jerry is de broer van Mary Bey en die is beter bekend als de Zangeres Zonder Naam (ZZN). Samen met zijn zuster zong hij meer dan tachtig liedjes en solo zong Jerry ongeveer het dubbele aantal. Er verschenen als het duo Jerry & Mary ook nog ruim twintig LP’s en CD’s. Sommige opnamen zijn helaas tot dusver (nog) niet teruggevonden. Maar wij (enkele van zijn kinderen) geven het niet op, we blijven zoeken!

Jerry Bey zong voornamelijk over het leven. Het leven zoals het veelal nog altijd is. Het levenslied was eind vorige eeuw niet meer zo populair, maar werd na de eeuwwisseling (met dank aan de media) weer volop gepromoot. Kijk maar eens naar de vele Nederlandstalige evenementen zoals bijv. met Marco Borsato, Trijntje Oosterhuis en momenteel de retro-shows over André Hazes en de commerciële TV programma’s daarvan. En wat te denken van de Nederlandse hiphop. DJ’s werden en worden (wereld)bekende artiesten.
Wat de artiesten vandaag de dag ook zingen, het heeft bijna altijd het karakter en oorsprong van de ouderwetse “smartlap” uit de jaren vijftig, zestig en zeventig. Veel van die hits van toen keren terug in een ‘ nieuw jasje ‘.
Geniet echter met volle teugen van Nederlandstalige muziek en dan ook van die van Jerry Bey en zijn vakgenoten.
