To unlock your Volvo simply press and hold the unlock button on your Volvo remote for four seconds. This will lower all the windows, and the sunroof in case your car has one. Once you're done with the vehicle, you can close all windows by pressing the lock key for four seconds.

You can also use your key fob to activate your car's panic alarm. This will produce a loud noise that will draw attention and discourage thieves. It also helps you return home safely in the event that you've been away all night. This feature is handy for those who live in a dangerous area, or want to ensure your family's safety when you are away from home.

Opening the Tailgate

If you have the Hands Free Liftgate with Logo Projection and Programmable Height (if equipped), then you can open it using the key fob. Simply press the button open it, then press the same button to close it once you're done.
