Elissa Alvarez is paying a high price after she was filmed having sex on a crowded public beach.
She told INSIDE EDITION: “I am a sex offender right now.”
The 21-year-old and her bodybuilder boyfriend, Jose Caballero, are now on the national sex offender registry .
She said: “I’m not as sex offender. I’m not a child molester. I would never do anything to a child physically. I absolutely love children I always said I wanted six kids.”
Alvarez continued: “When I have a kid I am going to be labeled a sex offender and will people want to bring their kids to my kids? And can I go to there? And now, I think should I even how a kid now. It's not fair at all .”
She was on a packed beach in the middle of the afternoon when she had sex with her boyfriend. Not only was the couple caught on a cell phone camera but it was in the presence of a three-year-old playing on the beach.
Cops in Bradenton, Florida hauled Caballero away wearing only a red speedo. Alvarez was in her bikini.
The couple was charged with lewd and lascivious exhibition, which is a felony. They faced a whopping 15 years.
Her lawyer Gregory Hagopian said: “People say these two should have known better.”
He went on: “I don't disagree with them. To go ahead and convict someone of a sex crime and put them behind bars for years and a sex offender for life that is a bit too much.”
Prosecutor Anthony Dafonseca disagrees. He said: “This is someone sexual explicit actions in front of minors at a beach at 2:30 in the afternoon. This is not what you can expect to see.”
It took a jury only 15 minutes to reach a guilty verdict. The key piece of evidence was the viral video taken by a grandmother on the beach.
Caballero , who has a prior conviction for cocaine trafficking, was sentenced to two-and-a-half years. Alvarez , however, was spared jail time. But she says she now has to live with the shame.
"The fact that I have to live with that and go through that and deal with the consequences that go with that, it is embarrassing," she said.

A man and a woman who just met started kissing and rolling around in the middle of a Chula Vista shopping center for everyone to watch.
CHULA VISTA, Calif. (KABC) -- A man and a woman who just met started kissing and rolling around in the middle of a Chula Vista shopping center for everyone to watch. Witnesses said it was something you just had to see to believe.
The couple, who police told KGTV had just met on the trolley, got down and dirty in front of Christina's Dress Shop.
Witness Christy Peterson, who shot video of the incident through the store window, said the man and woman seemed oblivious to the fact that it was 3:30 p.m. and that they were surrounded by people in a shopping strip mall.
"They were rolling on the ground, making out and getting sexual," said Peterson.
Peterson said the two kept their clothes on for the first 15 minutes. Then, she overheard the man convince his new friend to take their relationship to the next level. He stripped off all his clothes, and she kept her skirt on.
"Her legs were in the air, and the guy was on top," said Peterson. "We were just so shocked, our mouths were just opened."
Security never showed up, so Peterson called police.
"We were just panicked and there were customers," said Peterson. "A woman with her baby, 16-, 17-, 18-year-old girls here to shop for prom and got the shock of their life."
Police arrived but the two strangers, who didn't even know each other's names, didn't flinch.
"They were like cuddled up while police were giving them tickets," said Peterson.
The man was handcuffed and taken to jail, and the woman was given a citation.

Ryan Gosling and Michelle Williams stunned in the critically acclaimed drama "Blue Valentine" about the dissolution of a couple's marriage. The film originally received an NC-17 rating because of the scene where Gosling's character performs oral sex on Williams's character, but Gosling called out the MPAA for sexism and misogyny, saying that if the roles were switched, and the female was performing oral sex on the male, the film would have received an R-rating. The rating was appealed and changed to R.

Directed by "Brokeback Mountain " director Ang Lee, the action-packed espionage drama follows a woman assigned to lure a special agent into a trap in order to murder him. The movie is rated NC-17 for graphic sex and full-frontal nudity, among other things.

An adaption of "The Book of One Thousand and One Night," "Arabian Nights" is an Italian film about a man who falls in love with his slave and his very erotic adventures as he searches for her after she is abducted.

This erotic thriller, released in 2000, follows a young lawyer who hopes to spice up his marriage by inviting another woman over for a threesome. However, breaking it off with the other woman proves more difficult than anticipated. Originally rated NC-17, some sexually explicit scenes were cut from "Trois" in order to achieve its R-rating.
