Seaview Exchange is a fast-growing electronics resale company specializing in buying and reselling marine electronics, industrial equipment, test equipment, and other high-value products. We're looking for a motivated Virtual Assistant who enjoys negotiating, finding great deals, and helping grow a business.
Responsibilities
* Search Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, OfferUp, and other online marketplaces for products that meet our buying criteria
* Contact sellers and ask questions about condition, functionality, and availability
* Negotiate pricing using our purchasing guidelines
* Record leads, conversations, and purchase opportunities in Google Sheets
* Follow up with sellers to maximize successful purchases
* Participate in brief daily or weekly team meetings
* Provide weekly updates and feedback on sourcing activity
Requirements
* Strong written English communication skills
* Comfortable negotiating with sellers through online messaging
* Organized, detail-oriented, and dependable
* Able to work during U.S. Eastern Time hours, including some weekends
* Experience using Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, or similar buying/selling platforms is a plus
* Reliable internet connection and computer
