Delicious food We had from Vintage Restaurant. It is great to have delivery due to the pandemic of the country. Hurry up & Place your order.
Thank you Batha and team for making us so welcome. We hadn’t booked but they managed to fit us in, and we were so glad they did! We had local grilled fish and prawns, with rice and bread etc and it was all perfectly cooked.... Really good quality. We had a good bottle of Pinot Grigio with dinner too! The decor is stylishly paired back, with nice vintage touches as the name suggests. We sat on the veranda. More
The food here is soooo tasty and the service of the waiter in special Mr. Tharindu was eccellent. I really loved how the ched Mr. Dilanga oreoared the white fish with caper sauce for me. Was so amazinf and a very good athmosphere. Thank you... a lot! More
you will leave smiling... if you arrived smiling, that is. lovely staff, Tharindu and all the others, good English-speaking fellows, terrific food, silent, peaceful atmosphere, and I even loved the cold cold Chablis (I am not a white wine person) and the Sri Lanka arak... they offered at the end. More
Went here with my girlfriend on our first night in Bentota. Found out about the restaurant on TripAdvisor and it didn't disappoint. From the start the service was great - staff were very attentive and friendly. We ordered the tandoori chicken and prawn curry, both... of which were very tasty. Finished the meal with mango flavoured shisha, which was a lovely touch. Complementary shots with the bill and the owner couldn't have done more. Highly recommend. More
Nice place but it was crowded and noisy. We had to wait for our meals for a while but the staff was friendly and food was very good.
The service is not that good, slow and the staff seems a bit bored. We had to wait quite a long time to get the food but when we finally got it it was very good! Delicious tastes and very high quality!
We had a Sri Lankan Curry.. it was pretty good and tasty, more like a Thai Green Curry than the other Sri Lankan curries that we’ve had on this vacation. Not a bad spot but not great either, Restuarant is maybe not what you would... expect, certainly no need to dress up.. we asked for some Egg Fried rice for our son and got plan rice! Nothing alarming but annoying for a simple thing. Would I go back.. yes I would.. but I wouldn’t rave about it either!! More
We ate at this restaurant twice during our four day stay in Bentota. Both times the food was delicious with a good variety of options. They have a wide variety of fresh seafood, however we are not huge seafood fans. I had the curry prawns... dish on one occasion and the Thai chicken on another with a prawns appetizer with avocado. My husband had the pasta Albungi which was delicious and al dente. Wine by the glass was the best value we found during our 3 weeks in Sri Lanka. Service was very friendly and the
atmosphere was lovely but not
pretentious. I felt that I was at a
proper restaurant versus being at a
beach/ snack bar. More
The food is pretty good, but the waiters need training, or to be changed altogether. One dish was delivered after reminder, 1 hour after ordering, half cooked (chicken breast, by the way).
Mayonnaise lovers would love seafood salad. Sewage water ditch along the terrace does... not add romance for couples. More
