Vintage Org
Vintage Community is a Templeton church. But probably not like church you remember. Check out our latest services here .
Our style is simple and eclectic. We open the Scriptures together, sing worship songs, and remember Jesus through communion.
Some folks wear ties and dresses, some wear flip-flops. We don’t own a smoke machine and are not likely to be buying one (not that there’s anything wrong with that).
We just come as we are, open to the next step of the journey God has for each and every one of us.
Vintage Community was started in 2008 in Templeton by a couple of pastors who wanted to create a simple place for folks wrestling with scars in their religious past. A place where it was safe to ask inconvenient questions, use their gifts, or just sit and heal.
Not much has changed since then. Vintage is still just a place where folks are trying to find out what it means to practically trust God’s great gospel story in their everyday lives, and learn to live with each other honestly. You don’t have to be messed up to be a part of the Vintage family, but we are discovering that messed up is a great place to start the journey.
Vintage is a non-denominational Christian church. We’re more interested in people finding freedom in the gospel than deciding who’s in and who’s out. Each Sunday, liberals and conservatives worship side by side. We’re not super hip, but we’re learning and growing together.
And yes, we meet in a triple-wide mobile home, each Sunday at 10-ish AM. Come visit!
Join us as we watch the inspiring story of Jesus in this 8-part film series and discuss how His sacrificial love helps us face today’s troubled world.
Our main offices are located in Templeton. Shoot us an email or swing by and say hello. You can also call us at (805) 296-1120.
Keep up to date on all the latest Vintage happenings, updates, and general drivel. It’s a once-a-week newsletter that you won’t want to miss!

vintageTEK is a charitable, educational and scientific museum founded to commemorate the early history of Tektronix. The museum and website is dedicated to displaying Tektronix products which enabled generations to create the future and in memory of those employees contributing to this legacy.
Our mission is to encourage the next generation to pursue careers in science, engineering, and technology by sharing this knowledge and history and supporting educational programs in our community.
We do not have predefined tours and tailor the experience to the age and interests of the volunteers. The museum is filled with working Tektronix products from about the first 50 years of the company. The tours can focus on many different aspects including the instruments and their uses, the technology that enabled these products, applications in industry and research, individuals that enabled these products, and to stories about the company.
We play company videos specific to products and applications, and history and capabilities of the company. We also have an interactive library for patents up through 2010 and employee photos prior to May 1970.
We have hands-on demonstrations for visitors of all ages and have toured students at age 8 up to seniors. These include sounds, games, computer graphics, music, and science.
Due to the highly interactive nature of the tours, it is best for smaller groups. We typically accommodate larger groups with more volunteers to conduct multiple tours simultaneously. Our regular open hours are updated here on our website but we will strive to accommodate your schedule if a volunteer is available, and a dmission to the museum is free.
