Tuscany Vintage Chart: 1985 to 2022 2022 A vintage characterized by extreme drought. The winter of 2021/2022 was very dry. Spring and summer did nothing to alleviate the pressure. Growth was irregular and yields were low throughout the region. Rains at the end of August and beginning of September proved the vintage's saving grace.
Northern Rhône Vintage Chart: 1978 to 2023 2024 Extremely challenging, with rain from April through July and lots of downy mildew; then high heat for most all of August. Rain returned in September.
