About the Role
We are looking for a Creative Video Editor to join the Vue team and take ownership of creating high-performing video content across our marketing channels. This role is primarily focused on hands-on video editing and production for paid social advertising, website optimization, and overall brand growth.
You will work closely with the marketing and creative teams to turn ideas, concepts, and raw footage into engaging performance-driven content that aligns with the Vue brand. The ideal candidate has strong editing skills, understands short-form advertising content, and can work efficiently in a fast-paced ecommerce environment.
Some of your responsibilities will include
* Perform video editing tasks related to social media advertising, website optimization, landing pages, and other ecommerce touchpoints
* Create and adapt video creatives for platforms such as Meta, TikTok, and other paid acquisition channels
* Develop engaging short-form content optimized for performance marketing goals such as hook rate, watch time, CTR, and conversion rate
* Handle the creation of User-Generated Content (UGC) briefs and assist with creator communication when needed
* Review and provide structured feedback on creative assets received from creators, freelancers, or external partners
* Suggest and help define best practices and creative guidelines for social media video ads
* Maintain consistency across branding, messaging, pacing, and visual style in all video outputs
* Support broader marketing initiatives and assist with other creative and marketing-related tasks when required
It's beneficial if you have some or all of the following skill sets
* Strong experience editing short-form video content for social media advertising and ecommerce brands
* Proficiency in video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, or similar software
* Good understanding of performance marketing creatives and what makes ads convert on platforms like Meta and TikTok
* Experience working with UGC content and creator workflows is a plus
* Strong sense of storytelling, pacing, hooks, and retention-focused editing
* Ability to work quickly while maintaining strong attention to detail and brand consistency
* Basic understanding of ecommerce, direct response marketing, and customer psychology
* Comfortable receiving feedback, iterating fast, and working in a performance-driven environment
* Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
* Clear communicator who collaborates well with marketing, design, and external partners
