having come here for 7 years now, I think it appropriate to say how this whole experience has degenerated over each year. When I first came here it was a thriving, busy, exciting place to be. Now it's a run down shadow of those former years and in desperate need of investment. It's not just the infrastructure that is poor, it has, in my opinion, self destructed with the lack of care and service for its audience. Let's be honest there is no where like it on the planet for this kind of adult lifestyle, the clubs bars and beach have been rocking over the years but now, it's a sad, somewhat unfriendly place. The bars have been known for pricing themselves too high but they continue to cut corners and reduce service. The capital of fun Melrose bar is now half empty on weekends and yet they have not even attempted to win back custom. They simply abuse the loyalty of their followers. It started 3 years ago when they changed their DJ. The music was appalling and considering the majority of their customers are over 30' they completly missed the beat. Eros has been reinvented and is probably the better bar but they will not allow anyone but couples to go in. I understand that to a point but they really do loose out when decent, affluent people want to go into the bar and a single friend is stopped at the door. It would be unreasonable of me to just run down a few bars but my message is one to the owners of this establishment. Your loyal followers are leaving in their droves and unless you embrace the culture of good service and pleasant attitude, we will continue to leave. Both le glamour and Tantra are half full/empty on some weekend nights. I can remember 3 dance floors in le glamour being full, now there is only one with areas blanked off. I have stayed at every large establishment on the area, including Eden, Ozinn and the rest and none of them stand out. Eden charges over 400 euros a night! And they won't even change the towels. It's laughable. The bar serves extortionate drinks and some weekends I have seen fully clothed parties of people allowed in. There are a few restaurants that keep up appearances, including le Mississippi which I have rediscovered after a period of lack lustre food. I now stay on the campsite, which in the UK would be closed for health and safety. It's.... Ok but nothing special. Again attitudes are poor and there is a lack of customer service. They are trying however and so I give them 1 extra point for that. There have been some small improvements to the site. All in all, the cap experience has failed now for a few years and continues to attract less and less followers. Someone, someday will get a grip and look after the loyal customers before someone else in Europe does so. It would only take a resort to open in Spain or elsewhere that is easily accessible to take away this loyal group. Come on Cap pull your finger out!
The TV programm was only in French, very fee programms and not inviting when waether condition is bad. The Restaurants are good, nice staff in the eintire Area, but very little attention to the inroom service. Will not go back ehrn improvements are not being made. It's better to stay in a hotel, even when a little more expensive. Improve and you will have more guests in the Village.
it's like heaven on earth. the last day i cant imagine being dressed the rest of the year again. Nice people (a handful of lonely stupid men too), naked trying on dresses in the shops, no fitting room required. I love the camping, meeting people at the beach and private parties.
We visited Agde naturist quarter to evaluate it as a place to staton a boat, as we are naturists and sailors. It disappointed us. THough it has a lovely beach the actual town is now very over- built and urban, but. Main thing which put us off was the attmosphere of sexual licence everywhere. From the time we had coffee in a cafe with phallic cruets on the tables to witnessing openly exhibitionist sex on the beach, an undercurrent of sex is everywhere. Agde has departed from its proper naturist origins and is now a swingers, voyeurs and exhibitionist resort. I would certainly not take children there, and I would think that most genuine naturists would not want to be associated with the place now..
We found the whole experience very relaxing, nobody cared how you looked, great atmosphere, would like to go back soon.
I got taken here as a present by my boss from work. Stayed in the naturist village. I looked it up before I went and it looked like an interesting place for the sexually adventurous. Expensive, but I didn't pay. I'm no prude and my virginity went years ago. Here I lost it 30 times over in various ways. Did I enjoy it. I certainly did!
