Parmi les témoins de cette scène surréaliste, une grand-mère, qui avait amené ses petits-enfants à la plage. Elle a filmé une partie de la scène avant d’en donner une copie aux médias locaux.
La femme, qui n’a pas voulu être identifiée, a confié qu’elle n’avait jamais vu une telle scène se produire sur la plage depuis 1978, soit l’année où elle a emménagé dans les environs.
« C’est comme s’ils pensaient qu’il n’y avait personne autour d’eux. J’ai regardé les autres personnes sur la plage et tout le monde les regardait, mais personne ne réagissait », a-t-elle confié.
Après 25 minutes, les amoureux ont décidé d’aller se rafraîchir dans l’eau quelques instants avant de retourner s’allonger sur leur serviette de plage. Puis, ils se sont assoupis un certain temps. « Nous pensions qu’ils étaient morts », a affirmé la grand-mère. Mais elle se trompait. Une fois réveillé, le couple n’a pas perdu de temps et a recommencé à se toucher!
Un des parents en a eu sa claque et a décidé d’appeler la police. Il faut dire que sa fille de 4 ans avait assisté à la scène. Finalement, ils ont été arrêtés. Heureusement, car nul ne sait combien de temps aurait encore duré ce petit manège...
