When I first learned about the new Pipedream Fantasy For Her Ultimate Pleasure 24k Gold Seasonal Luxury Edition , I was honestly a little bit confused. In addition to a vibrating wand and tongue-like attachment, the contraption boasts an “oval cone” that “fits perfectly to cup your labia, clitoris, and most sensitive lady parts”—which, like, what?
The toy, it turns out, has three functions in one: The handle itself is a G-spot vibrator with 10 vibration patterns, and on the other side is a flickering silicone “tongue” with seven motion patterns and a sleeve you can put over it to soften the sensation. And , if you can choose, you can fit an oval or round cup over the tongue for a gentle three-mode suction sensation.
Well then. I’d used dozens, if not hundreds, of sex toys throughout my life, but never one like this.
The toy is actually an update on the earlier Pipedream Products Fantasy for Her Ultimate Pleasure , with a red color and 24k gold plated accent added for Valentine’s Day, plus a satin storage bag. So, unusual as it seems, the basic design has been around for a while.
When I first took it out of the box, I struggled to understand what the suction attachments were for. This was not, as I initially guessed, a suction toy akin to the Satisfyer or Womanizer that sucks on your clit. Nope—this fit over my whole vulva. According to a rep from Ella Paradis, the retailer I got the toy from, the suction attachments are “meant to simulate oral sex.” For me, honestly, though, they didn’t do anything noticeable to my genitals. They did create a strong sucking force when I placed them over my nipples, but this was more uncomfortable than pleasurable. So, I moved on to the other two functions.
The tongue device—which vibrates while it moves back and forth with different speeds and rhythms—was a little bit hard for my taste without the sleeve, but it was better with it on. It took some adjusting and cycling through the patterns, but I eventually was able to find a setting I liked and get a good orgasm out of it. This isn’t your typical vibrator that blasts your clit with intense surges of vibration, but rather, the repetitive movement of the tongue creates a subtler sensation that builds to get you there gradually, which, for me, was actually more satisfying in the end because it wasn’t so much stimulation as to be overwhelming.
Instead of having control buttons at the bottom of the handle like many sex toys do, this one’s buttons—one that controls the tongue, one for the wand, one to increase or change the suction, and one to stop the suction—are in the middle, which leaves the handle free to double as a vibrating dildo. The vibrations are nowhere near Hitachi level, but enough to get an orgasm out of by holding it against the clit. When used internally, the handle is sizable enough to create a feeling of fullness, and the different vibration patterns provide intense G-spot stimulation.
Even though I still don’t quite understand how these suction cups work or what they’re supposed to add to the experience, I will be using this toy for its tongue function whenever I’m craving oral sex but don’t have a partner available for it. And it’s convenient that, if all that tongue action leaves me in the mood for penetration, all I have to do is flip it over.
