Petite Friture and Constance Guisset, an inseparable duo with lofty ambitions, have started a new chapter of the Vertigo story with Vertigo Nova: a highly technical piece of sophisticated design.
The vast veil of graphic lines mounted atop a sphere of handblown glass uses built-in LED technology to emit a soft light.
A line that comes in black or white, for two subtly different moods: opalescent white on white, or ashen grey on black for the pinnacle of sophistication.
ENVIRONMENT : Indoor MADE IN FRANCE CE & UL MARK
MATERIALS : Fiberglass, steel, polyurethane, Triplex glass, aluminum Steel wall canopy and tube. Magnetic closure
DIMENSIONS : Ø: 110 cm | 43.3 inch 100cm | 39.38 inch:space between wall and center glass. Possible rotation around axis of wall canopy (within the limits of shade dimension).
Possibility to connect to a regular wall plug with included cable.
ILLUMINANT : 1350 lumens 10 Watt Color temp 2700K°
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS : Easy assembly system. We recommend 2 people to install.
CARE : Dry or microfiber cloth for ribbons and electrical parts

Born in 1976, Constance Guisset lives and works in Paris. Constance Guisset is a French designer with an original story. After studying economics and business at ESSEC and IEP in Paris, followed by a year in the parliament in Tokyo she chose to focus on design. In 2007 she graduated from ENSCI - Les Ateliers and founded her studio. She quickly earned recognition through winning prizes such as the Grand Prix du Design de la ville de Paris in 2008, the public prize at the Design Parade in Villa Noailles 2009, and finally in 2010 both the designer of the year at Maison et Objet, and the Audi Talent Awards. Her different research paths have led her to work with Petite Friture, Fontana Arte and Molenti amongst others for product design.In addition she has worked with Angelin Preljocaj, Established & Sons and Galeries Lafayette notably working with the latter on scenography, and has worked with video for Le Musee des Arts Decoratif and the design Biennale in Saint-Etienne.
Its name derived from a star, the lamp sculpture intrigues with its lines and moves and seduces with its unique style.

The purely functional is transformed into something beautiful, where only that which is essential remains: a light and delicate veil floating between two worlds ”. Constance Guisset.

La suspension Vertigo fait partie de la première collection de Petite Friture qui a vu le jour en 2010. Dès son lancement, Vertigo a été exposée dans la galerie milanaise référence du design de Rossana Orlandi et a intégré les collections du Moma. Ce lustre design créé par Constance Guisset s’est imposé très rapidement en tant qu'icône. La suspension Vertigo a depuis habillé de nombreux espaces et est entrée dans d’autres collections à l’instar des collections permanentes du Cnap ou du MAD.

Installed by hand by qualified French artisans and held delicately but firmly in place by taught ribbons, reacts to the lightest of breezes.
