The heroine of our story today is Ayakoz Kenzhegulova, a leading engineer in the Technology Department of UzLITI Engineering. She made the first steps in her future career while studying at the school for gifted students № 11 in Uralsk № 11, when she was fascinated by exact and natural sciences and was interested in creating engineering structures, she enjoyed studying chemistry and biology. Then I entered and successfully graduated from the West Kazakhstan Agrarian-Technical University.

— Tell us about how did you start in the company?

— After finishing my master's degree at University College London in Great Britain I returned to my home country and was looking for interesting job offers. In the end I received an invitation from the design center to take part in one of the most interesting and large-scale projects — construction of Baysun gas processing plant. And now I have been working in Tashkent for more than 2 years. Great team, wonderful professionals and interesting projects.

— What are your duties?

— I participate in elaboration of schemes on which the plant is built. In the BGPP project, I am responsible for developing the system of steam generation and boiler feed water distribution. In addition, I create questionnaires and other working process documentation in close cooperation with my colleagues.

— What do you devote your free time to?

— Though a bit late, but I realized how important it is to take care of your health, so I go to the gym regularly and try to keep my body in good physical shape. I like painting in various techniques, most of all I like to create oil paintings. For a long time. Thanks to my professional activities in an Italian company, I have become very familiar with their language, which I am trying to learn.

— What are your impressions of Uzbekistan?

— The hospitable country has pleased me with its wonderful architectural landmarks. I stayed in Samarkand and Bukhara, walked along the ancient streets, enjoyed the nice weather and marvelous views. I was delighted that the country was able to preserve such significant cultural sites.
