WPDevice

New app! Venetium is a browser for Windows 10 Mobile based on the Chromium 150 engine, featuring a native Chrome interface laid out just like Chrome for Android.

Music, Video, and Devices:

— Music and video continue to play when the browser is minimized or the screen is locked.

— The lock screen and volume panel display what is currently playing, including the title, artist, and cover art (or the tab title and website name if this metadata isn't provided by the site). Playback controls—play/pause, forward, and backward—are also available.

— Websites can access the camera, microphone, and location, enabling features like video calls, recording, and maps. The phone will prompt for permission upon the first request; if access is disabled, it will automatically open the relevant settings section.

— You can switch between the front and rear cameras while on a website.

— Permission request dialogs are properly scaled to fit the screen.

Interface:

— The address bar is positioned at the bottom of the screen, mirroring the layout of Chrome for Android.

— Includes a black theme optimized for AMOLED displays, with the toolbar automatically hiding during scrolling.

— Offers a "Desktop site" mode—configurable for individual websites or globally—along with custom user-agent settings.

— Address bar suggestions no longer obscure the text you are typing.

— Menus are correctly positioned so they don't disappear behind the system bar, ensuring accurate touch response.

Apps and Extensions:

— Installed Progressive Web Apps (PWAs) can be pinned to the Start screen; a list of these apps is available under the "Apps" section in the menu.

— Supports extensions from the Chrome Web Store (Manifest V3, such as uBlock Origin Lite).

Downloads:

— Provides notifications when a download starts or finishes, allows you to select a destination folder, and includes a "Show in folder" option.

— Downloads continue even when the browser is minimized. Continuum and keyboard:

— The interface on the monitor is optimized for mouse input (tabs, "Back," "Forward," "Refresh" buttons), and websites open in their desktop versions.

— USB or Bluetooth keyboards are supported, including Ctrl-based key combinations; pasting via Ctrl+V no longer results in duplicated text.

Other:

— Fixed a crash that occurred upon launch on certain unlocked phones (e.g., Lumia 950 XL devices modified using Interop Tools or vcReg).

— Updated icon and tiles; tiles now take on the system accent color.

— The "Copy logs" feature now saves logs from the five most recent sessions.
