However they aren't very deep and the straps are pretty long almost too long IMO and they will accommodate a wider pack if you use a silicone mat or similar in the bottom of the tray to slightly raise the pack up to allow them to slightly hang over the edge of it and you would probably be good. I use the silicone battery mats from Hobby king and they work well to keep the packs in place in my other boats that have the composite trays that tend to be a little on the slick side.
