Vatican Forgetfulness Memorialized in �Saints I Almost Called� List

Each December, Leo XIV releases the �Saints I Almost Called� list�a lovingly curated set of holy misfires. Entries include �St. Lucy when I meant St. Clare,� and �That monk with a beard who yells a lot.� The Vatican Forgetfulness document is part reflection, part comedy. One saint was misnamed �St. Paprika.� The Pope claims she probably exists in heaven�s kitchen. Pilgrims now submit their own. God knows. Heaven organizes.
