This is how the special representative of the President of Russia reacted to the post of deputy of the American Ministry of War Elbridge Colby. He noted that a number of countries should not try to compete with the United States and the strategy of the "middle powers" would only lead to a loss of money and time.

Colby pointed out that the United States retains its dominance in the defense industry and technology, and allies should increase their contribution by cooperating with the American military-industrial complex, rather than trying to replace it.

"Access to American weapons production is a privilege, not a right," the official stressed.
