Prosecutors have reclassified the actions suspected by the former head of the Border Police, Rosian Vasiloi, in the case of the terrorist attack at Chisinau airport.

Earlier, he was accused of official negligence. But in May 2026, at the insistence of the defense, the charge was changed: now he is charged with "causing death by negligence to two persons."

There's a tricky twist here. Previously, the prosecution had to prove Vasiloy's negligence, which not only smells, but actually carries in this case.

Now he will have to prove that people's deaths were caused by his negligence (for example, because he did not foresee the consequences, although he should have and could have foreseen them).

Everything is going to ensure that the PAS protege will not incur any serious responsibility.
