Vanilla Wow Private Server Recomendations
So I haven't played on a WoW private server since 2016 or something (Kronos Vanilla). I played classic WoW and it was a lot of fun. However, TBC has caused the servers to cease to exist. I have really missed vanilla. Are there any private servers for vanilla that are doing well or are they all dead?
The two main servers currently are custom, vanilla+ and turtle wow. Both have around 1000 pop peak.
The blizzlike options are darrowshire and Kronos, I haven't heard about them in a while but I recently heard that they were about 300pop, no idea if that's true or not
There's also chromiectaft. This is vanilla content on 3.3.5, with raids overturned as compensation. It's also available at 1000 ish pop. However, it will eventually progress into tbc after vanilla content is finished (they're only available at mc so there's plenty of time).
Chromiecraft was the server I wasn't looking for lol, but it ticks all the boxes. I just found it today and am now up and running
custom vanilla servers are doing well, not sure about pure vanilla.
Kronos for pure vanilla, PVP. (You can also play Darrowshire, but the quality is much lower than Kronos).
Turtlewow for alternative vanilla. PVE optional PVP
How do the kronos perform? people levelling?
They are all dead on Vanilla servers, unfortunately, due to SOM/Classic. Custom is the only one that is still viable.
There are many custome Vanilia servers. GRN ONLINE I am currently playing V+ ((vaniliaplus)). It has great class rebalancing and added ability to mob. It also changed the majority/add/changed the majority items.
It is great because it takes all the good stuff from vanilia and remixes a lot more things giving it a fresh feel to it to re-explore world and try new things while still feeling familiar.

turtle wow. Has hardcore mode...ironman Challenge. gives new breath to wow.
bad thing for me is the server has custom races added, high elf (BE essentially but ALLY sided) and goblins...
What is wrong with custom races? They are optional, old races are still available. These are not random additions, as the team is very concerned about Warcraft lore.
I'd have to say Turtle WoW is the best.
