Since the site/application was bought and renamed it has not been the same I used to like to enter and see that people were streaming series and movies and there was a very large community it felt very alive and friendly now the loneliness invades me there are no more rabbit nights there are no more groups to watch movies where strangers shared time and watched series together it makes me very sad and I would like a solution exactly like rabbit or as close as possible
We've mostly stopped bothering with social media shortly after we launched in mid august 2019 and managed to keep a steady userbase mostly by word of mouth. It's time to grow a tiny bit more, so here's what's new.
I fixed a bug that's plagued me for over a year and would result in audio working but not video for a very small number of users. I could not reproduce it and had no idea what was going on beyond a small suspicion it might be network related. Then I found out the same thing happens if I have a vpn turned on, so I did some testing. I finally realized the default MTU (max packet size) of the stream was set too high, so the added overhead of a VPN or other network thing made the packets too long. Long story short, it's fixed now.
We've added some partially pay-walled cosmetic features: animated gif avatars/room icons and nickname/chat text colors.
I've also added dectalk text to speech the other day, the tts that's used in moonbase alpha if anyone remembers that game. It's just a silly feature for fun.
I will keep adding silly little features like that because they bring joy to my own movie nights. I hope others enjoy them as well.
There's other things, like rock paper scissors that was added a while back. Oh and uwuify was fun for a while, if not a bit much.

I started searching an option to watch series and movies with my internet friends and I found about multiplayer browsers.
I don't know if we should give it a chance, so I want to know if someone who has tried this browser before can give me your opinions about it .
Also, as I said before, I'm new on this topic so I want to know some thing about how this apps works (Sorry if some of them are very frequenly questions):
When using a streaming service as Netflix/Hubu, you only need 1 account, right? Or you need an account per person?
How the browser works when you connect with people from different countries? It works well or it gives a lot of lag ? (To give a personal example, we are probably going to chat from Spain, Mexico and Japan)
I saw Giggl has an mobile App in beta. It works fine? And Hyperbeam also works on mobiles (Android or iOS)?
I hope someone can help me to take the best choice.
I am personally really excited about this feature! We noticed people using all sort of ways to try and keep track of what they wanted to watch, so we finally finished building out a playlist feature into the app!
The following was added to Hyperbeam this week!
Playlists - A new tab on your chat will show your current playlist. Anyone can add content to this list to help collect links to visit. The user in control can hit the "Next" button to load the next item in queue!
If you want to skip ahead, just click the item in the list!
You can add items directly from your clipboard by clicking the clipboard icon at the bottom
Any link posted in chat has a new right click option to add it to the playlist
Playlists stay even if you leave the room
Copy current page URL - Also part of the playlist display, you can see the active window information. Anyone without control can also use this to copy the URL of the current website, without needing to ask for control
Moderators can now open the room - This was a pretty common request, and finally set it up for everyone!
A subscriber must be active in the room to skip promos!
Friend Room update - When highlighting a friend room on your rooms list, it now tells you which friends are members of that room, no more mystery!
Room Banners - We felt the logo was bland for each room, so we added a set of randomized banners that are chosen for each room! Customizable banners for subs are on the horizon!
Default profile icons - Similarly, we added a set of random default profile icons for all guests and new users!
Bug fixes - A standard of course. The biggest change was a last second find related to our chat feature previews causing lag for some. This should be addressed now!
We are really excited to hear what you think about playlists! All feedback on how you would like this feature to be adjusted to fit your needs!
