Vincent Valentine is one of Final Fantasy 7's most beloved characters and has inspired many fans to create awesome cosplay photos.
Final Fantasy 7 is often lauded as the fan-favorite of the Final Fantasy series, with many players considering it to be the best that the franchise has to offer in terms of characters, game mechanics, and storyline. The game is so beloved that it recently received a remake, with Final Fantasy 7 Remake launching in April earlier this year.
One of the fandom's favorite characters is Vincent Valentine, who was so well-loved that he even earned his own spin-off title, Dirge of Cerberus , which released for the PlayStation 2 in 2006. As with any popular character, fans have shown their adoration by creating some rather awesome cosplays, check them out below.
This brilliant cosplay by Alxx2x showcases Vincent's trademark outfit, complete with his Cerberus gun , which is named after the legendary three-headed dog due to it having three barrels. Vincent is arguably the coolest character from Final Fantasy 7 and has a large fan-following, despite only being an optional character in the game.
Vincent actually wields a smaller gun called Quicksilver in Final Fantasy 7 and uses Cerberus in Dirge of Cerberus and Advent Children, but the latter gun has become more synonymous with him.
This cosplay by Ankh-Feels presents Vincent's outfit as it was first introduced in Advent Children , with his right arm being fully covered, a change from his original costume design. When it came to Vincent's design for Advent Children , the creators didn't want to stray too far from his signature look, so only subtle changes were made.
Other changes were made were the tattered cloak ends and a full bodysuit. It is this version of Vincent that has proven most popular with fans, likely due to the tattered cloak ramping up his cool guy appearance somewhat.
Cosplayer Amie Lyn presents a gender-bend version of Vincent. She seemingly mixes the costume designs from both Final Fantasy 7 and Advent Children , as she sports just a small glove on her right arm, yet has the tattered cloak. Vincent's Quicksilver gun also makes an appearance, rather than Cerberus.
This cosplayer has also cleverly changed Vincent's typical red bandanna into more of a feminine accessory by using it as a hair-band instead. The corset and heels also complete the more feminine look.
NicoleMarieJean offers up another fem-Vincent cosplay to great effect. Vincent's design has remained largely unchanged throughout all the games and films he has appeared in, with only minor tweaks being made. Vincent's staple features are his red cloak, long black hair, and striking crimson eyes, which this cosplayer has managed to perfect.
Vincent holds himself responsible for not being able to stop the Jenova Project . He has many regrets about not being able to save Lucrecia from the experiments performed on herself and her unborn son.
This awesome cosplay by darcywilliam gives fans a rather cool action shot of Vincent with Cerberus. In Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children , all of the characters wear a pink ribbon on their left arms as a tribute to Aerith Gainsborough .
Though Vincent also wears a ribbon, he is the only one to wear it on the right arm, likely due to his full-length gauntlet being on his left arm. This cosplayer has included this ribbon in remembrance to Aerith, which is a nice touch.
Cosplayer soulCerulean delights fans with this awesome action pose, with Cerberus's barrelheads seen in the foreground. Vincent is often mistakenly labeled as a vampire due to him being stuck in a death-like state and sleeping in a coffin at one point, but he has no thirst for blood.
The reason the character becomes "undead" is due to Hojo shooting him in the chest and then using his half-dead body to experiment with, giving Vincent the ability to shapeshift. Lucrecia infuses Vincent's body with Chaos-tainted Mako to help rehabilitate him, and then later Protomateria to help Vincent control the Chaos to a degree.
MiyukiKurame has edited their awesome cosplay to give the effect that Cerberus is actually being fired, creating a rather awesome battle shot of Vincent. This cosplay's fine details are quite impressive, with the intricate buckle patterns drawing the viewer's focus.
Interestingly, Vincent Valentine was initially set to appear in the Kingdom Hearts series, but this idea was later scrapped. However, part of Vincent's design element was incorporated into Cloud 's visual design for Kingdom Hearts with Cloud inheriting a red scarf reminiscent of Vincent's cape.
This fabulous cosplay by Alyson Tabbitha is highly detailed, in particular, the gauntlet and Cerberus gun. This image allows fans to get a really good look at the details on the latter weapon. This gun lives up to its namesake not just with its three barrels, but also with each barrel being adorned with a dog head instead of sights.
Vincent didn't always appear this way, as he was once a Turk and, consequently, wore one of their staple suits. Additionally, he also had much shorter hair at the time.
This absolutely amazing cosplay by Akitozz6 is not only a brilliant recreation of Vincent's character but is also a stunning image due to the artistic photo editing. This cosplay also features a tender tribute to Aerith by having the pink ribbon on Vincent's arm, as well as Vincent's iconic Cerberus weapon.
This cosplayer has also appeared as various other Final Fantasy characters, as well as characters from many other franchises. Make sure to check out the rest of their awesome cosplay work.
Kuja Oniisan Cosplay gives what is arguably the most perfect Vincent Valentine cosplay to ever grace the internet. This cosplayer has absolutely nailed the appearance of Vincent from Dirge of Cerberus , right down to the exact stylistic hair shapes that the character has in this title.
This cosplay looks so good that one might believe that Vincent has stepped out of the game and into the real world. This cosplayer has other images of their Vincent Valentine outfit, so be sure to check out the rest of their gallery.

Resident Evil's original heroine is iconic in both horror and the gaming industry as a whole, so we're checking out the best Jill Valentine cosplays.
The Resident Evil 3 Remake is fast approaching on the horizon, and the built-up excitement of revisiting Raccoon City with Jill Valentine is palpable. The original Resident Evil 3 is one of the most beloved horror games ever made, and Jill Valentine remains a fan-favorite character in video games.
Cosplay is such a great way for fans to express their love for their favorite characters, and with a character as loved as Jill, it's no surprise that there's a lot of amazing cosplay of her. Let's take a look at some Jill Valentine cosplays that look like they just jumped off the screen.
Let's start this list off with this great cosplay from AgosAshford , an Argentinian cosplayer. The Nemesis Tyrant might be smaller than the other Tyrant types, but it's every bit as terrifying, if not more so thanks to its intelligence and the fact that it's armed with a rocket launcher.
Everything about AgosAshford's cosplay here is on point. Her outfit is so detailed and perfectly matches Jill's outfit from 1999's Resident Evil 3: Nemesis , the background has a great Resident Evil feel to it, and the Nemesis looks great as well, even after being beaten by Jill.
Sometimes there's cosplay so good you forget that you're looking at a photo of an actual person and not a screenshot from the game. Take this cosplay, for example, from cosplayer Daran-h of Resident Evil 5 Jill Valentine.
Daran-h's cosplay is impeccable, everything down to the smallest detail is perfect, and the lighting in this image really brings it all together. This cosplay is so well done that we actually thought it was a screenshot from a game cutscene.
With Resident Evil 3 Remake fast approaching, cosplayers have wasted no time coming up with cosplays for Jill's new look. Take this Jill cosplay , which comes to us from Crescent-Kitty , for example, who's done an excellent job recreating Jill's new look.
Jill's new look in the remake is much less objectifying and much more badass. Jill's new look makes much more sense for trekking through a city infested with zombies, and Crescent-Kitty did a great job encapsulating Jill's badassery.
Before being part of the BSAA (Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance), Jill Valentine was a member of S.T.A.R.S., an elite unit of Raccoon City police officers. Jill's done so much and has been an integral part of the franchise, but it's important to not forget her roots.
This cosplay comes to us from Cortana2552 , who is seen here in Jill's original Resident Evil outfit. This cosplay is just about as good as a cosplay can be, and Cortana is to be commended for looking like she literally just walked out from the game.
Up next is another fantastic cosplay of Jill Valentine's new look in the Resident Evil 3 Remake , this time from the cosplayer Yukilefay . Most of the individual components of Remake Jill's look are simple enough for anyone to get—tank tops, jeans, fingerless gloves, etc—but when it all comes together as well as Yukilefay has done, it's really something else.
Trekking through a zombie-infested Raccoon City requires firepower, and here we see Jill doing just that as she loads up her gun. It's not easy getting past hordes of zombies with the Nemesis on your tail, but Jill's up to that challenge.
There's nothing like that sigh of relief you have when you're almost out of ammo, completely out of herbs and first-aid sprays with your health on danger, and then you come across a save room. Finally, a place to take a breather and restock your inventory before heading back out into the fray.
This cosplay is from PriSuicun , a cosplayer from Brazil who took things to the next level with this cosplay. Not only is PriSuicun's Jill cosplay on point, but she went all out to recreate a Resident Evil save room complete with typewriter, ink ribbon, and even a box of Red Hawk handgun ammo.
It all started with the Spencer Mansion, the imposing home of Umbrella Corporation founder Oswell E. Spencer and the setting of the first Resident Evil . Jill Valentine was one of the few survivors of the Mansion incident, and the events that unfold therein are what kick start the entire franchise.
Here we have a stunning cosplay from Russian cosplayer Narga-Lifestream . The Spencer Mansion is a spooky place, with danger potentially around any corner, and this image captures that feeling perfectly. Narga's Jill cosplay is so on the mark that this could be a still from a live-action adaptation.
The Spencer Mansion is so full of unusual and convoluted puzzles that it makes one wonder if Spencer went a bit overboard with his vision. Take the puzzle in the bar of the Spencer Mansion. You have to find the sheet music for "Moonlight Sonata" to play on the piano to open a secret wall to get an emblem to switch with another emblem to get a key. Really, is all that necessary?
In any case, here we have a gorgeously done cosplay from Milena Vigo of Jill playing the piano to open the secret wall. From top to bottom Milena's Jill cosplay is so well done that it's no surprise that she's a professional cosplayer.
Could this technically count as two cosplays? There's a brief moment toward the end of the Resident Evil 3 Remake announcement trailer where Jill looks at her reflection in a mirror and sees quick flashes of herself as an infected zombie. It's a cool moment and it's one that cosplayer TamillaArt recreated brilliantly.
First of all, Tamilla's regular Jill cosplay is fantastic enough on its own and looks exactly like the scene in the trailer, but then she went ahead through the trouble of recreating the infected version as well, getting every small detail right.
Is it still considered cosplay if you're basically cosplaying yourself? We think so and it brings us the final Jill Valentine cosplay in this list. This cosplay comes to us from none other than Julia Voth , who actually served as the character model for Jill in the 2002 remake of the first Resident Evil .
This cosplay is just sheer perfection. If you're looking for cosplays of Jill that look exactly like the game, of course look no further than a cosplay done by the woman that Jill is literally based on, and you can just tell that Julia had a blast bringing Jill to life like this.
