If you are experiencing vaginal dryness from any stage of menopause, this is the product for you. I'm going to share my personal experience in the hopes that another woman who is in my shoes can make an informed decision when purchasing this product. I like to do my research and Vulvacare was highly recommended by other Amazon reviews, as well as independent websites. I'm currently in the ugly grip of peri-menopause and one morning my vagina went from Niagara Falls (hereditary condition where I produce excess discharge) to Scottsdale, Arizona, in July. Since I was 14, I was used to changing thin pantyliners at least 6 times a day and had never experienced dryness in my life. I am young, have sensitive skin and am prone to UTIs and yeast infections so I was not ready to begin using estrogen creams or HRT. I wanted a more gentle, natural way to alleviate the symptoms. Cut back to the morning when tumbleweeds were blowing across my girl bits. I was in incredible pain and I couldn't figure out why. The skin on the entire vulva and both sets of labia were covered in cracked, scaly skin that continuously shed to expose thinner, more sensitive skin. Some of the cracks opened and bled. I can only describe the feeling as having acid splashed on my vag. Ten days ago, I got my jar of Vulvacare in the mail and started to use it. The label says to use half a teaspoon and at the time I thought it was excessive. Bear in mind that one of the natural ingredients is beeswax so it more of a waxy balm when you scrape it out of the jar. I recommend a washable plastic spoon or knife to get what you need out of the jar. After learning what amount my body responded to best, I am now using a fourth of a teaspoon after I was using the amount of a small pea. Once I put the balm on my fingers, it melted into a creamy, almost gel-like form. I noticed that it spread on very smoothly but wasn't oily. My skin soaked it in completely after an hour and on Day One I got relief. There was no irritation to the vulva or opening to the urethra, no aggravating dyes or scent and no oily mess in my panties. Since I'm not a contortionist, I took vag selfies twice a day to see if there was any progress (weird? maybe. helpful? very). Looking over the pics, I could see the difference that I already felt immediately. The redness and irritation were gone, the skin is no longer cracked and nearly done shedding and the inner vulva and entrance to my vagina looked factory new. Now when I touch the skin lightly, I can feel a silky texture to it and I'm no longer finding shreds of skin clinging to my finger. This product may be less expensive than other brands (I tried another one first and my lady business was angry for two days) and the ingredients are simple, clean and natural but this blows everything else out of the water and I won't hesitate to buy another jar when the time comes many months from now. The jar is made of tough, durable glass and the lid that screws on is a hard plastic. I have MS so I have dropped the jar three times now. The glass stayed intact but the lid broke. I taped it together so it screws back on and keeps a seal but I put it in a plastic freezer bag to make sure it stays fresh. I can't recommend this product enough. It worked miracles on my delicates, and as my husband says, "It's the balm (bomb)!" Yes, I did laugh before throwing my slipper at him. What I like is the second I used this product which was as soon as I got it out of my mailbox I found relief. I'm allergic to almost everything but not this. Here it is the third application and it's amazing stuff. I highly recommend this product for those who have been are currently going through menopause are just simply for burning and dryness. Even to use this to keep this sensitive skin healthy is a plus. I had my doubts because of allergies to all products used in this area. I'm not saying a person couldn't have a allergy to one of the ingredients cause anything allergy is possible. I used this for the most severe case of a cystocele. I'll need surgery for it but it's no time to have dry burning pain while your bladder is hanging down. I was willing to give this a try I was in such pain. You don't need a teaspoon. I did as another review recommended I put a tiny bit in the palm of my hand and it melts then you apply. Remember don't contaminate your product always practice clean application. I can't praise this product enough. I'm not in pain from this terrible situation. I followed directions closely and don't apply internal. But I used on the full outer skin in this area. You will stop friction damaged skin and well it makes your skin surprising soft in this area. If something changes I'll get back on the review but as for now 3rd day and I'm delighted with this product.

I’m always hesitant when trying a ne product as I hate to waste money, but I was to the point of desperation. After reading many positive reviews I decided to take a chance and I’m sooo glad I did! This product works! As an ovarian cancer/chemo patient, the dryness in the lady bits was getting severe, to the point of cracking and peeling and bleeding. My oncologist suggested using coconut oil, but I didn’t care for the smell of a lovely bunch of coconuts down there and found it a bit greasy. Not so with this product. Some reviews mentioned a smell, but I didn’t notice one. I also didn’t find this has a greasy feel to it. But the icing on the cake for me is that immediately after applying I stopped hurting, and now after three uses I feel back to normal! I will continue to use this and buy more once finished with this container! I HIGHLY recommend this product!

It is a good product but I expected it to be a “cream” and it is more like Vaseline with a more solid texture. Kind of like deodorant, it has to be spread on rather than creamy and smooth. It is in a jar and you have to rub your fingers across it to get a little at a time to use.
