Fashion is all about freeing the nipple , so it was only a matter of time before it started freeing the vulva , too.
Namilia is a Berlin-based design house helmed by Nan Li and Emilia Pfohl, and its latest collection is called “My Pussy, My Choice.” The collection, which showed at New York Fashion Week on Saturday, was a colorful display of garments and shoes adorned with both large and small renderings of female genitalia.
According to the show’s invitation, the collection was inspired by the 1748 novel “The Indiscreet Jewels,” written by Denis Diderot and published anonymously. It’s “an allegory that portrays Louis XV as the sultan Mangogul who owns a magic ring that makes women’s genitals (‘jewels’) talk.”
Models strutted down the runway proudly wearing images of vulvas ― some discreet, some not-so-discreet ― on collars, sleeves and skirts.

Not to mention, as any sexually charged event would have, the New York Post reports the models walked down the runway to Disney music.

It's a miracle how Kendall Jenner didn't have a massive wardrobe malfunction in that almost naked from the waist down dress!
The 2019 Oscars took place last night and amongst all the memes and all the controversy , there were some quite iconic red carpet looks.
Best dressed on the night included Billy Porter in his tuxedo dress inspired by Hector Xtravaganza, Lady Gaga in her $30million Breakfast at Tiffany's necklace and a whole host of other actors who all turned it out on the red carpet. But enough about that... it's time to talk about Kendall Jenner and her almost nude from the waist down/'side-vagina' at the annual Vanity Fair party. (Yeah, that's right, I said 'side-vagina')
While she didn't attend the actual ceremony, Kendall did show up to the after party and when I say that her dress took my breath away, I mean it in the literal sense because I actually gasped in shock and almost choked on air. Kendall wore what can only be described as a ~loin cloth~ by couture designer Rami Kadi to the after party and the internet had what can only be described as a ~heart attack~ when they saw it.

The internet is pretty split over the look, with the majority of people not enjoying Kendall's take on the 'no pants'/'naked' red carpet trends of recent months. It seemed, at least until today, that Björk was the only person on this planet that could pull off the rare vagina dress—she recently graced the cover of Icelandic Glamour in a pink dress that resembled the body part. With the release of her new Grimes -featuring single “Pynk” from her upcoming album Dirty Computer , Janelle Monáe is out to stake out her own territory in the yonic fashion game.
In the appropriately rosy-hued music video, which was directed by Emma Westenberg, Monáe debuts a pair of pink vagina pants, which actress Tessa Thompson peers out of at one point. And while the suggestive ruffled bottoms are perhaps the most eye-catching part of the clip, Monáe dons plenty of other memorable looks throughout, from a structured hot-pink dress that she layers over super-voluminous, fuzzy red sleeves, to printed crimson boxing shorts. Take a look at the official debut of the vagina pants below, and watch until the end to take in Monáe and the rest of her all-woman crew dancing in fun, pink-accented ensembles.
