What exactly is VANTA?

As depicted above and as indicated on the official website of VANTA, VANTA is a decentralized and permissionless network that ensures real-time, secure and private connectivity. By using blockchain and crypto-economics designed for real-time networking, VANTA creates a system in which nodes participating in the network contribute to real-time data transmission and processing without relying on traditional centralized systems and networks. This system results in a low cost, functional blockchain-based network where anyone, regardless of existing platforms, can participate and use the network by using an API, an SDK, or modules to integrate with existing applications or platforms in use. In simpler terms, creative services will be provided and integrated within the VANTA ecosystem, and VANTA blockchain will greatly contribute to improving the daily lives of individuals and operations of enterprise businesses.

VANTA’s Intelligent Network

VANTA’s Intelligent Network works as a decentralized network that performs real-time data transmission, processing, and storage functions by selecting peers that collaborate and evaluate each other. The VANTA ecosystem also includes the Networking Framework which is a non blockchain framework built on the PGP encryption standard which helps the network achieve high levels of performance when dealing with secure, real time communications and data transfers. Furthermore, the ARKAS Protocol, a decentralized P2P networking protocol, establishes seamless routing channels across nodes, while the KANUS Chain adopts the Proof of Networking consensus algorithm that incorporates intelligent, self-involving nodes with Verifiable Random Function (VRF) and Practical Byzantine Fault Tolerance (PBFT) to maintain efficiency alongside cost reduction.

Necessity of a new consensus algorithm

Since VANTA is a blockchain designed for processing network tasks in real time, its efficient processing requires a new consensus algorithm. Since previous consensus algorithms were based on proof of performance or proof of rate and wasted computing power, they were unsuitable for use. with VANTA. VANTA aims to use the computational power and network resources of network nodes that will be used for real-time networks and Dismantle the evidence for these problems with block generation and consensus algorithms to make a consensus algorithm optimized for VANTA.

The PoN-VRBFT

Consensus algorithm VANTA created an algorithm called Proof of Networking, which allows each node to contribute to the transmission, processing and storage of data in the network in real time. This was combined with BFT and VRF to develop a unique consensus algorithm called PoN -VRBFT.
