Fists are a type of Weapon in Elden Ring . Fists are equipped on both hands and excel in short-range combat, allowing users to perform fast and rapid attacks that can quickly elminate hostile Enemies .
Fists are compatible with a range of different Ashes of War , allowing you to mix and match for whatever your needs may be.
Weapon Range Data for Fists in Elden Ring. Credits to user Kaj .
give me Malenias Arm as a fist Weapon pls. I wanna punch people but at the same time show how rich Iam with my unalloyed gold
Everyone in here talking about the bone fist is a treasure in this community.
there should be a unique fist weapon called lobster claws that gives you the spitting attack the lobsters have as a unique ash of war. god tier weapon
hitting things shouldn't knock you back with fist weapons, if anything, it should pull you closer.
Always keep one of the fist weapons in rotation on a STR build. With Barbaric Roar or Warcry. Activate the Ash, do a heavy attack (charged or not, doesn't matter) and enjoy a 3 hit combo with hyper armor on command. Does very good damage and can outtrade w/ many matchups. Just don't try to trade with a bleed or frostbite dual wield build because the status effect proc will stagger you no matter what.
I used Caestus a lot and starfists for a bit. This weapon subclass is actually broken and needs one of these two fixes: hitbox buff or removal of the stupid invisible collision that pushes you away from some enemies. Against some enemies, these weapons are nearly unusable.
these would be like 3x as viable if they just had a bit more forward motion on neutral light and heavy attacks, same with claws
If for no other reason than them having a weird hatred for it, the Grafted Dragon somehow finds itself having less range than the Caestus, a weapon that is basically your normal fist wrapped in leather.
endure and storm stomp can make these pretty beastly
Doing a Kazuma Kiryu build what fist weapon would fit best and what ash of war you guys think?
From once again not giving much thought or love to claw's and fists
Here's hoping one of the DLC is Land of the Reeds and we get something akin to the Bone Fist. Those charged R2s on the Caestus leave me hopeful.
Get outspeed by rapiers and curved swords
These feel aweful to use - why would you give an innate powerstance weapon like this the regular weapon button mapping? It feels so counter intuitive to use when every other dual wielded weapon has combo attacks on L1, whilst these have a block that is utterly useless instead?
I never even played DS2 and even I miss Bone Fist.
Spiked caestus is better than regular caestus by 1-2 points and has bleed, star fist is better than iron ball by 4-10 points and has bleed, morning star is better than mace by 3-8 points and has bleed. Even in the previous games so many weapons are ever so slightly direct downgrades to their spiked counterparts. Can you do something slightly unique like increase the str scaling on unspiked counterparts so they have a reason to exist like how the club v spiked club works? As it stands, the only real reason you'd use the unspiked versions is to knock your weight load down by half a point or for fashion souls.
Some of these are not bad, but the Bone Fists were something else
Would love it if they brought back some form of the champions ring from DS2 to have a truly unarmed experience
I love the katar it reminds me of maplestory
I don't see where any of these mention 2 handing becoming 2 fists, but does anyone know of that is better than equipping 2 of them?
Why there're no ashes of war exclusive for fists? I want to see something like rapid punch, upper cut, hadoken etc.
Fists pros and cons Pros: Deals good damage Fast speed Doesn't need two in order to duel wield (Except Grafted Dragon) Good scaling Light weight Cool Cons: Abysmal range
Fromsoft please add Bone fist from DS2
While not the best build objectively, I’ve been having fun running grafted dragon on my off hand with the Magma Wyrm Curved Sword in my right for thematic reasons, but it’s also great bc I prefer the dragon’s ash of war and the one handed move set of the curved sword. Plus having a dragon on your hand is just sick
I REALLY wish that insane shoryuken alexander does was an ash for these
gotta love using these on bosses that keep ****ing moving around. The suffering is real.
People sleeping on Cipher Pita, but great tech on any build with 30+ faith. Unless you're already using all 6 slots then it's free!
Have faith bois Remember -- the Bone Fist was only added in the 3rd DLC of DS2. We'll get our weapon yet!
There seems to be a bug when "2-handing" fist or claw weapons, to where you can't sprint attack for some time after jumping/landing. It really hampers using jumping as a feint in pvp. If you power stance 2 different fist or claws the sprinting L1 will work even though its the exact same attack as the 2-handed sprinting R1. Already contacted Bandai about it, but wanting to spread the word

I hope this gets fixed like the rolling rapier bug, but with how rare fist/claw weapons seem to be used my hopes aren't high. Posting on both pages for visibility.

I just wanna Kung-Fu again like i could in DS2
it should be illegal that something like the bone fist from dark souls 2 isnt in this game
I beg, PRAY EVEN, that this game has dlc and we get the bone fist equivalent from DS2
When you hold "Y" and push "RB" to "two hand" a fist weapon you get a second copy in your other hand. My question is, does this still count as 2 handing, resulting in +50% strength bonus?
If you're disappointed by the Ash of War selection for Fists or Claws, then give War Cry or Barbaric Roar a try, the unique Cry / Roar strong attacks for Fists and Claws are really cool looking and pretty damn fun to use.
Truth be told, i am kinda dissapointed that there's no crab claws fists.
I'm sure some of y'all may consider it a dumb build, but I have a cold caestus with hoarfrost stomp, a second cold caestus with bloodhound step(both in my main hand), and a flame affinity spiked caestus in my off hand. The burning, freezing, bleeding combos has been wayyy too much fun, and the lack of blocking isn't an issue thanks to my light equip load. I WILL punch god.
Nothing like Bone Fist? What in the world.
Something I'm not seeing people mention is that all fist weapons (except the Grafted Dragon) are paired weapons which means any damage enchants applied to the mainhand also get applied to the offhand. Any status, Bloodflame, Lightning, Scholar's Armament are all insane with fist weapons IMO. OR change their affinity and use a weapon art that leaves the weapon enchanted, like Flaming Strike.
We want our bone fist back! That was my jam in DS2.
When you just want to punch the crap out of stuff.
A ****ing tragedy they didnt add the bone fist or the vanquishers seal, what a missed opportunity. Just want my martial arts/boxing moveset back :(
I had lot of succes on pvp with spiked ceastus + war cry ash + Axe talisman. The charge with r2 suprised so mamy people. Bleed activate after about 6 hits. The punch make good dmg and are super fast, faster than 1 hand weapons. The only problem is when you invade and have to deal 1vs2 or 3 then the small fist range od a problem because you can only hit one target ( 0 AOE, no wide hits)
One of the only weapons I liked from DS2, the Bone Fist, would have been a great addition to the lineup for this game. Between the variety of movesets and the ki blast technique it would have been super fun to play with here. Sad to see it still hasn't returned.
I know that there's a poison fist weapon where is it, looks like 2 snake heads
Ah yes the good ol' tradition of beating ****ing dragons and **** with your fists in souls games, satisfying AF weapon type
Never gonna get that Dragon Bone Fist running kick from DS2 again...

Grafted is the worst, what the hells wrong with this guide. - Scales off/Requires faith, nerd attribute for dorks. - Can't duel wield, useless arm. - Gotten from the dorky boss. If you really are a fist's enjoyer, Caestus should atleast be at or near the top.
Wish there was a gauntlet that could be used like Iron man's hand cannons. With a weapon art that had choices like the deaths poker. R1 like I said would fire a beam of fire or holy damage, could even act like a grab on opponent if they are player size or smaller if the are within the players reach. R2 the player uses gravity magic to somersault into the air while up heaving rocks around the player. Slamming back onto the ground with rocks following right behind player on slight delay could be used like the golden slam weapon art.
Who keeps putting up the "best x weapon" type stuff? Best weapons are usually subjective. Sure there are a few outliers, but the grafted dragon is not one of them. It's a solid off-hand weapon. The ability to take weapon art priority no matter what hand it's in signifies this. It lacks the innate dual wield factor that every other fist weapon has. Unless you run it with a second fist weapon. At this point I'm more so confused and curious as to what the justification is for it.
you guys are still missing the venomous fang fist weapon. Found it in caelid, don't remember where but I'm sure other would know.
It almost feel like these weapons were designed to be used alongside the black flame blade incantation, you do so many hits and all hits apply the HP loss effect, really powerful.
Why can I not put bloodhound dash on cipher peta? Isn’t it a melee weapon?
Any of the first weapons viable for pve?
Lol just like hammers.. double charged re pretty setups up a riposte on most things, and is hilarious
Miss the Demon's Fists from DS3. May them live on in offline mode forever.
Fist weapons with the same strenght scaling as katanas, what kind of drugs did FromSoftware consume before taking this design choice?
Why does fromsoft hate fist weapons? I want to do crazy kung fu type ****
Fist weapons are surprisingly REALLY good at chasing other players who are rollspamming away to try and heal. The double punch lunge for your dash attack roll catches really strongly, And if you use the star or spiked caestus, the bleed builds up quickly. You can build on this with bloodflame or blood grease for lethal buildup. The jump attacks are extremely strong as well and both the jump R2/RT, and the fully charged strong attacks produce incredible stance stagger, While paired, your punches cannot be deflected by any means so you can destroy guards with them. Fist weapons are finally at their peak.
"Best fist weapon: Grafted Dragon" Sounds like Bias. I haven't lost to a single invader with while using the spiked Caestus. Its moveset is so varied and universal that I was able to counter parry fish attempts.
Really hope there is a Bone Fist-esque type of weapon that hasn't been found yet. My monk build needs it :(
I had hoped for the bone fist making a return. I wanna throw hadokens and stomp the ground with every attack like an overenthusiastic sumo wrestler.
the clinging bone also has arcane scaling, D if i remember correctly
i have to say a lot of these fist weapons feel like they should be claws
I saw that Blackguard, the prisoner dude cooking prawn, uses some strange metal ball hand coverings as fist weapons when I summoned him for the magma wyrm fight. So those are peesumably another type you can find somewhere.
the regular cestus is also missing sold by the npc at stormveil main gate
Can anybody tell me if the fist weapons are good enough to clock EVERY boss in the game? I would love to use them but if their damage scaling isn’t good enough for end game I might reconsider… let me know!
This is missing the Star fist, its just to the left in the gladiatorial arena you can find while going up the large tree in the capital, not too far off from the Erdtree sanctuary.
Caestus can be purchased from Gatekeeper Gostoc for 800 souls
If you kill the thief at boilprawn shack (which is south west of the Academy gate town grace) you get the iron ball fist weapon. The iron ball comes with Braggart's Roar which raises attack, defence and stamina recovery
There's a pair of fist weapons called the star fist that's just a pair of morning stars you punch with at the coliseum near the capitol city
killed the thief who stole rya's amulet and he gave me his hat and his fist weapon
Missing the cannon ball fist weapon. It's typical garbage fist weapons but looks funny.
You guys are missing the clinging bone, which has the life steal ability. I’m fairly sure you get it by defeating the initial invader when you go to the dark version of the round table.
Clinging bone is missing. Found by being invaded at the Roundtable
there is one called Iron Ball, it drops from a man at boilprawn Shack
Yo bois how are fists in Elden ring ?
So you are telling me out of 5 fist weapons, 2/3 are claws ? Just want some diverse gloves man
I warped to the roundtable and everything was dark, then the silent guy who stands outside the library attacked me. He dropped the Clinging Bone fist weapon, and his armor was sitting where he normally is afterward. The weapon is similar to the hookclaws, but lacks bleed and has a darkwraith-esque weapon art. No idea what triggers this event.
The hell is that ? 5 fist weapons in the game and you make 3 of them full blades ? It's like making 2/3 of the straight swords blunt when you have a hammer class. Wtf
missing Cipher Pata, found at the roundtable, sorry i don't know how to edit ****
There is another fist called Cipher Pata, it requires 30 faith and scales with faith at C.

People can be squeamish about putting big things inside of their vaginas or anuses, and rightfully so. The idea of putting a giant dildo , a big penis , or even an entire fist inside of you can be intimidating. Fisting, in particular, seems to be shrouded in a unique kind of taboo, which is unfortunate — if people knew more about the sex practice, more people who'd be into it would be able to enjoy it. If the idea of fisting is intriguing to you, there's no reason to let fear or sex negativity stop you from trying it out. You just need to learn exactly what it entails and how to prepare for it. (Hint: Lots of lube is involved.)
Just to clear up any lingering confusion: Fisting refers to an entire hand being inserted into an orifice. While often associated with vaginas, it's
